Located in Brooklyn Heights, Jules places modern embellishments on late 20th century style pizza. The menu features a continually evolving selection of old New York style pies, a few shareable plates, locally sourced salads and sneaky good desserts. Vintage fixtures illuminate a lively, demure dining room that feels modern yet appropriate in the historic neighborhood. The full bar features classically inspired cocktails & wines by the glass from burgeoning producers. Jules was opened by Chef-Owner Julian DiChiara, Hallie Lahm and designed and constructed by partner Colin McTigue.

A wonderful new upscale addition to the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood…and Manhattan. Had it opened a couple months earlier, it would have been on The NY Times best pizza places in NY.

This is a great neighborhood spot. Food is excellent, service is spectacular, festive atmosphere. The wine selection is great, but they need some less expensive choices. We would eat there more often if there were less expensive choices. Can’t eat out when around $60 is the least expensive wine. There is a restaurant near this one that has a $17 house wine. We eat there a few times a week. It would also make it more neighborhood-y.

It’s nice when you go to a restaurant and they greet you like if they are happy you are there, well, that wasn’t the case, the vibe of the guy at the door was so uninviting I wanted to leave right after our arrival, that set the tone of the rest of the experience, what a shame.

Amazing pizza, service was exceptional, overall very good experience. The price is excellent for the quality as well. We live in the neighbourhood and will be repeat customers.

Wonderful food and service. A little pricey. Unfortunately, at least in the early evening, the family vibe and noise overpowers the experience. Great that they welcome these large groups, but seems like the set up could be different to also allow for those seeking a more mellow, grown up dinner.

Jules is the perfect place to end the night after spending time in DUMBO! The wait staff and restaurant management are amazing. Highly recommend!
