Jules Bistro- Queen West

Fell in love with Jules Bistro from the moment my friend and I walked in. Excellent service, loved the ambiance and the food was not only reasonably priced but DELICIOUS. My only complaint is I didn't try this place sooner as I live around the corner. Looking forward to returning soon.

Jules Bistro is the perfect combination of 5 star Michelin quality of food in a relaxed casual atmosphere ideal for those who appreciate the best Toronto has to offer in fine grilled meats and wonderful appetizers and desserts and wines. The best of everything! You won't be disappointed..

Jules Bistro was an absolutely perfect date night spot! Their prix fixe menu is awesome and a great value in my opinion! Two prix fixe meals plus a bottle of wine = perfect night out for a romantic date night! The ambience is great! It’s dark, romantic and sexy with some great music. I’d love to come back again and get that covered seat in the window to do a bit of people watching while sipping wine! My boyfriend and I will be making their our new date night spot for sure!

The food and service were outstanding! My husband loved the birthday surprise.

This didn’t work out to well.

My wife’s birthday and asked for a candle in the dessert. This was typed into the reservation details.

Our server was absent after our main course. None of the details were passed on even though I called to confirm them earlier in the day.

Server only became interested after he gave me the machine to pay and asked everything g was ok. Once he noticed a small tip he became very attentive...as we walked out the door.

Good spot if you’re a regular the restaurant staff recognizes. Not so much otherwise.

food is prepared very well consistent and tasty. perfect balance. blueberry tarte finished the meal perfectly. ambiance is conducive to a great evening. repeat customer.

I celebrated my bday with 9 other friends and everything was fantastic. Drinks, food, and service was so good! I’ve been here before a couple times so I knew it was the perfect place to show off and take my friends!

Only note I’d suggest to serve a small salad and less fries with with steak frites that comes with the price fixed menu. The food is so great but when the steak comes on a platter with all fries it doesn’t look like a full classic meal. More like a kids meal 😀 haha but no complaints on the huge amount of delicious fries!

My partner and I usually get the platters so the amount of food and whole look of the food displayed on the board is so special and unique and cool!

The food was amazing as always. Staff is great and provide a laid back upscale dining experience. Looking forward to the next time we dine there !

The best as always

One of my new favourite go to places. I have probably brought a handful of friends to this location specifically, as the owner and service are very welcoming. I would recommend trying the cout de la bouf, as that is my favourite dish (big portion, perfect shareable)! The experience is what you make of it. I took my best friend for her birthday. It can be very intimate, and it can also be a place to come with a bunch of friends. Happy I found this restaurant, I will be visiting more often... especially once the weather gets nicer.

Good french food with elan... for those young in spirit who love life. Food is simple but excellent in taste and in preparation. We devoured the spectacularly presented cornish hen for two and loved it. Chicken was moist with meat falling off the bone. I really noticed that the side salad was very fresh with a very nicely balanced salad dressing. Fries were well...french :-) Crispy but not too crispy. Dessert was understatedly delicious. And the room was lively but romantic at the same time. Love the unique art.

Absolute gem of a place. We dined at the very comfortable bar and food and service were spot on. Relaxed and friendly yet upscale. And it’s in our hood. Yay!

Super service; wine tastings included by management. Food excellent and good size servings; steak tartar, steak frites and grilled octopus. Complimentary after dinner wine served. Attentive and kind service with coats when leaving. Reasonable prices for the food quality and service. We most definitely will return.

Let me tell you one thing, this place is the epitome of a home feeling at a restaurant. First thing is first David and Eric the owners are always here and are always speaking mixing and mingling with their customers. Super friendly individuals with great conversation. Secondly the vibe is perfect for a date night and being romantic or a birthday party with friends.

Pricing is great, and Tuesday is the best day to be here cause the Cote De Boeuf is half price. I always at the Ratatouille to it cause it reminds me of my moms Indian cooking and gives a great flavour to the already perfected steak.

I always sit at the bar cause I feel the interaction with everyone is a lot more interactive and the stories are never ending.

If I had to say one thing and one thing only is that this place is a must visit in Toronto.

Great service and atmosphere. Food was good. We had lamb and duck as mains. The appetizers of salmon carpaccio and shrimp/shallots had a nice sauce. The creme brulee desert was great and not too sweet.

Very good French food at a reasonable price. We will be back again.

Not the same team working as in the past. Service was slower and less personal but still good

We booked bar seats. Our food was great and came very quickly, but at the end of our meal the server came over to tell us that they have a time limit on he seats and we were 15 min over. At this point we had been dining for only an hour - so the time limit is 45 min? For a Friday night this is an insane time limit - what if we ordered dessert? Or apps? Also, all of the other patrons at the bar were there before us and no one else was asked to leave. I suspect they double booked or seated a walk in and needed the seats. Either way extremely rude, if your in a tight spot just explain it don’t lie and ruin our meal. Won’t ever return.

Took a littler longer then expected to get a waiter to come by initially. But the rest of the evening was fantastic. Food was excellent ! Would recommend the escargot. Four of us split the 24oz beef and a few appetizers and was more than enough. Chocolate mousse tasted like it may have been a day old . Can't wait to go back and try the duck.

We went on Tuesday night so had the good fortune to enjoy the steak special. It was absolutely delicious as were the frites. The service we received was great. The tables are very close together and we found the noise level to be very high, making it a bit difficult to enjoy a conversation.

An absolute gem!!! We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Absolutely fantastic, great friendly service, cosy atmosphere, wonderful food, we had the steak, desert to die for.

We had a lovely post shopping pre holiday meal. We actually reserved at the wrong location by accident and they sweetly sorted it all out. Second time at Jules Bistro and most definitely not the last.

Server was super caring and friendly. Music and vibe were perfect. Manager came to our table to chat and recommended I eat a bone piece with my hands to get the full experience. All together a fantastic evening!

We haven't visited this location for over a decade - and so glad we came again. Enjoyed before, but much more comfortable (warmer - no draught from entrance) and great decor - real bistro feeling. Servers friendly and responsive. Introduced a friend for a birthday, and she loved it!
