The views are absolutely incredible. The menu is diverse and everything I had was delicious. My family had an incredible birthday celebration here. Only thing to note is that it can be a bit loud inside. Don’t miss the desserts!

I was really disappointed because I had been here before. It was a Sunday morning and not busy at all, but our service was terrible, basically the server was not attentive at all. The only time I was offered a refill of my coffee was after my meal was complete and he was nowhere to be found during the meal. The food was not great. We ordered brunch, and the potatoes were soggy and I ordered avocado toast, and the bread wasn't toasted at all, making the entire entrée seeming mushy. Again the server never came back to check on us so I couldn't send the food back. Really disappointed. Ambience is five out of five. But we came to eat and expected a better experience. Maybe cocktails or happy hours is a better way to go and sit at the bar so you can get better service.

SO LOUD! Our dinner at Jula’s was delicious. The cocktails were great and the food was incredible. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, deviled eggs, Cajun shrimp pasta, and crab cakes. All amazing. The noise level and the service weren’t great, however. Our service was mediocre, slow to start and not very attentive. The noise level would make me rethink returning. It was incredibly loud. We eat out all the time and this was hands down the loudest restaurant we’ve ever been in. People were yelling to be heard. There was a large table of 10 next to us and in order to be heard down the table they were literally shouting. It was bad. The restaurant is mostly metal and tile with nothing to absorb noise. It was crazy. Maybe at a different time of day it would be better but I’m not sure I would go back. Certainly not for someone looking for a beautiful, relaxing dinner.

We enjoyed another wonderful evening at Jula's. Definitely recommend Chef Tom's roast duck and the chicken Milanese. Sergio provided top-rated service. All of this came in the backdrop of a beautiful sunset and riverfront view.

We tried Jula's new BBQ menu tasting "experience" pre-ordered and prepaid (non-refundable) option for a six course tasting. The terrace view is spectacular and enhances the tasting experience. Most of the items on the tasting menu were interesting and tasty - the toppings on the fish tacos were only fair - the peach dessert was not cooked completely. The service was challenging. We were confronted with making additional decisions about what we had already selected as required, including whether we'd prefer the experience of six tastings in three groupings. (This was not an option on the menu and had to be explained). Perhaps the server made that option up to make serving easier rather than to make the experience for the customers fun. However, we chose three groups ( 2 starters, 3 entrees, 1 dessert). In the end, sticking with what was stated on the menu - 6 tastings attentively served one at a time, would have been the more enjoyable experience. The corn, which was pretty, but tough to eat, came out first instead of second and instead of grouped with the other starter option (watermelon salad was supposed to be first). While all food, service including tip, and tax were prepaid prior to arrival, beverages were an add on. Yet the bill came with everything recharged plus beverages. It was difficult to convince the server to bring a correct paper bill of just the beverages for review. Once the correct paper bill arrived, one of the drinks was way over charged compared with what was stated on the beverage menu, with the server later claiming we ordered something different than what was on the menu. (Not the case). This all turned out to be quite a big deal to resolve with multiple people involved. Since this is a new option we hope it turns out the kinks will be worked out. It has good potential if a server sticks with the menu, including attentive service with six tastings, in order, and any add on orders billed separately with easy review of a final paper bill.
