Service was amazing, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Waitress was very knowledgable. Food was beyond reproach.
Food was amazing, fresh and delicious. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Pricey but well worth it for a special evening. Loved the atmosphere and the downstairs cocktail bar
Absolutely love Kazuo- he is a master.
Found on Open Table and had an amazing dining experience. The quality and authenticity of the food was what I have enjoyed in Japan. Our server was very knowledgeable and had wonderful recommendations. We’re not local to NYC, but I hope to return.
Nice place. A little fancy. Which can be a plus.
I went with a friend and we made a reservation last minute because I live close in soho. This might be my new favorite place. Very friendly staff and we loved the food. Definitely will go back.
We had a wonderful meal with a knowledgeable, attentive server. I will definitely return.
everything was good. the wait staff was very knowledgeable. however, there was a server who did not put their hair back. in other words, their loose hair fell into the water pitcher as well as grazing some of our plates as this person leaned over to refill water as well as explain the menu - the water pitcher was held next to their cascading hair.
Food was phenomenal and top-notch for itzakaya, which sometimes are more focused around alcohol. Service was amazing as well.
Everything is amazing
Had salmon and chicken yakitori, they were way too sweet.
Too much sweet sauce.
It was great
Very cute and amazing sushi and Japanese dishes in a small but open setting. Great service and excellent food. Fun bar downstairs too. I definitely want to get back to try the Omakase bar.
Incredible food and energy - highly recommend
The restaurant was OK, the quality of the sashimi was above average for NYC though hard to impress when the bar is set so high in comparison to our outstanding San Francisco Japanese restaurants ... The menu was minimalistic, the prices were not but they were not out of line. I would have given them a 3.5 star rating if I had not tried their carpaccio! That quickly dropped my rating to 2.5. By definition, that is supposed to be a transparently thin cut; this was thick, tough, and overly seasoned with rock salt perched on top... Carpaccio Is not meant to crack between your teeth
The restaurant lighting was poor but cozy. The staff was friendly and capable. We heard the omakase experience was great but we could not get a reservation for that. Based on the quality of the sashimi, I believe that should be worth a trip. Overall, not a repeat destination unless we try their omakase.
Extremely slow service. So slow.
Not prepared for Valentine’s Day. Each course took at least 30-40m to arrive. Fined for 2.5 hours and only ordered 4 small dishes. Ridiculous
What a fantastic place. Great service. Awesome food. Loved every part of it.
Juku needs to put at least one affordable bottle of sake on the menu. Only having bottle an that are $75+ is doing to detour a large market (Chinatown residents). Refer to Sugarfish menu
Ice place. Excellent service. Highly Recommend
A fantastic and unique dining experience!
Great food, service and atmosphere.
One of the most stunningly beautiful Japanese Resturant’s in New York City. The downstairs bar Straylight is one of the wildest spaces I’ve ever seen with amazing cocktails. This place is a must go.
Hidden away in Chinatown, this is a lovely place, with excellent food and ambiance, and a very helpful staff.
Wicked delicious food. Great server. Super fun spot. Can't wait to come back.
Sushi specials, Uni tasting, fried chicken, gnocchi, lamb chop and beef rice. World class food. Amazing atmosphere
The food was creative and delicious! We would
Definitely revisit when in New York City!
Came here for a large group dinner. They were able to accomodate last minute additions, and the food was delicious. Can't wait to come back for more.
Our waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable about the drinks and the unique ingredients and made great suggestions. The food and drinks were amazing. Very nice collection of original art on all three floors. Will be back.
Juku was more than you could hope for going in with the highest expectations. The staff go many extra miles to give you an exceptional experience and the omakase is better than I have the ability to describe. Could not recommend it more highly. Truly a memorable experience.
3 Floor venue with multiple dining experiences. Omakase sushi bar on the mezzanine, izakaya dining on the ground floor, and a funky cocktail lounge downstairs. Excellent food with attentive service and a great atmosphere!
