Juju serves up small plates with bold flavors, each prepared creatively with attention to tradition, whimsy, local integrity, and, of course, deliciousness. In addition to its extensive and delicious menu, Juju features a dynamic beverage program of hand-made cocktails, extensive Sake selections and a well-chosen list of artisan wines and craft beers.
Dine at the exquisite bar, in the luxurious booths, in the main dining room, or around the fire pit on the patio. Make a meal from small plates or order a whole Peking duck to share with friends.
Just come ready for a memorable experience.
Nice ambiance with a sweeping views, extensive menu and a large bar.
Fabulous food, great outdoor deck and excellent service. Outstanding.
Juju is one of my favorite restaurants in all of RALEIGH/Durham. Delicious food and always great service. Worth the price every time.
Great birthday dessert was an added treat. We were there on a Tuesday, and the noise level was much better than the weekends inside. Food was delicious, as always. Great wine selection and great service - great all around experience.
I've been to JuJu multiple times, and it never disappoints. The service is great, the food is excellent, and there is a nice choice of beverages. The only downside to this visit was that I got a follow-up from OpenTable asking why I hadn't made my reservation. Not a big deal, but I was there!
Surprisingly high quality Asian fusion in a small city. The outdoor terrace is very pleasant and the restaurant is in a quirky part of Durham
Go! Go now and often. Unparalleled service and the food is INCREDIBLE. Order the Peking Duck 2 days in advance, you won't regret it. Or don't everything is amazing. We've been twice and will be dreaming about it until next time. This restaurant does EVERYTHING right.
Excellent food that comes in sizes perfect to share with a lot of people around a table! Sit outside on the patio!
My husband and I so enjoyed the dumplings, with their Monday to Thursday reduced price, and the chaat with crunchy chick peas, cauliflower, and about 10 other spices and ingredients was the highlight! Well, our server was super too and the Ju Ju Whisky Sour lovely!
Lives up to the fusion and the reputation for enjoyable “Asian” fusion food.
Most delicious Asian fusion tapas!! Everything we tried was so tasty but we especially loved the bbq wontons, omg, crazy delicious! We will definitely be going back!
I enjoyed the food but my out of town guests were totally overwhelmed and at least one person did not enjoy it at all.
Pretty large portions considering its Tapas style. Great drinks as well.
Food was tasty and very different. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
Attentive service, great food and friendly staff made for an enjoyable evening at Juju Durham.
This was our first visit and we really enjoyed everything about Juju. We went for lunch on a Saturday and they were not very busy. The food and service were both outstanding.
My husband and I enjoyed Juju. We ordered the lamb chops, hickory smoked ribs and the spring rolls for a appetizer.
It was our second time at Juju and again the food was outstanding and innovative, the ambience beautiful and the service was impeccable.
The dinner in Juju was the best dinner that I even have in an American restaurant in three years. The octopus was an exceptional dish or the barbecue dumplings; both dishes are the best that I ever take in the United States. The price is high, that´s the truth because the quality of the product is exceptional. By the way, the service was at the same level than the food. I was working as a waiter for more than 14 years until I enrolled in the Ph.D. and the waiter was professional. My more sincere congratulations to all the team, especially to the service and mainly to the Chef because he created and artistic offer and delicious experience.
One of the best meals I've had in the Triangle, and I've lived in NC 45+ years. Unique, great variety. Wonderful flavors, friendly service, very attractive place. But the food is the star.
Great small plates that all had wonderful distinctive flavors! Scallops, short rib wontons with goat cheese, crab and shrimp cakes. Half price wine night. Fabulous service!
It was absolutely delicious. You know you've found a good place when there are too many options that you want and you can't decide. 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesdays was also awesome. All of the food was unique and very flavorful.
It was a beautiful evening to sit outside, and the food was delicious. We especially liked the brussel sprouts, lamb lollipops, and crab cake. The service was a bit slow, but reasonable. it is pricey, but delicious. If you are sensitive to noise, you are much better off outside.
Outstanding food and service
Hostess was a little rude when we checked in, but everything else was great. Our server provided great service and the food was delicious.
Food was fantastic! Noise level and half moon shape of table made it difficult to talk to all six seated at table and got a little attitude from hostess when checking in for reservation. A guest I had invited arrived before I did and told her reservation was at six and she said she didn’t have anything for six under the name given and continued to argue with a guest I had invited. I arrived a few minutes later and shared that the reservation was for 6:15. Sure enough we had a reservation. The hostess should have checked both reservations on either side of actual time instead of arguing with attitude and getting the night started if in a sour note. Again, the food was ON POINT.
Our server didn’t seem quite on the ball. Twice we waited 20-30 minutes for something we ordered and it only came out after we reminded that it hadn’t come out. One time it showed up fairly quickly and screaming hot as if it had just been fired. The server blamed the kitchen for that one.
On the other, I was blamed (I had the gall to order the Shaking Beef medium well). The server actually came by to give us our check before that came out, so we told them we were still waiting on food, then 20+ minutes after that it came out.
The server was also inattentive to checking on us and bad about getting each round of drinks.
This is our first bad experience with service at JuJu after many times. The food, as always, was great.
Great service and ambiance - can’t wait to come back!
The wait staff did a superior job of speaking to items on the menu, bringing the food to the table in a timely manner, and seeing that we were taken care of throughout the meal. The host/manager took time to talk with us about the restaurant and our experience. Very friendly and professional staff. And the food was excellent. An impressive array of food types and interesting taste combinations. The craft beverage was delicious.
We are New Yorkers so we are used to great food. The food at Juju was excellent. We enjoyed the edamame, shrimp dumplings and then dined on the shrimp and crab cakes and poke. I had the best dessert ever there (pot de creme with black lava salt). I will never forget that dessert. The service was as amazing as the food. Top notch hospitality.
Umami lives in Durham!! Creative, delectable taste pairings in perfectly sized and plated dishes. Wonderful wine list complemented the food. Nice vibe that married chic and your favorite neighborhood watering hole.
It's my favorite restaurant in town, the place i go when I want a treat. It's not within my day-to-day budget, but is always worth the splurge.
The hostess was incredibly rude. We showed up slightly early to our reservation and had to remind her after waiting for at least 15min that we were still there. She acted like she thought our party wasn’t there yet. No apology or anything. Luckily the food was good and so was our waiter.
Quite underwhelming. Felt like a chain restaurant. Food is quite overpriced. Service was average, drinks took some time. Hostesses neither friendly or unfriendly. 2 drinks and 5 items clocked in around $90. We won't be back. Go to Brewery Bhavana in Raleigh instead!
The food is amazing; everything we ordered was very very good! Highly recommend the short rib wontons.
We had a lovely delicious evening with friends. We especially like the chance to eat in one of their booths near the bar. The menu is unique and spicy fusion. Wonderful!
I had a business meeting at Juju and we were pleased with the menu options and the atmosphere. The service was good and the prices were fine. I'll be back.
Delicious food and amazing service, per usual!
This place was very good, my girlfriend and I went here for prom and would highly reccommend to anyone else. Excellent service and great food.
We were running late for our 6:30 reservation; therefore, I called to notify the hostess that we would arrive approximately 10 minutes late. I did not expect to hear anything more than a politely worded "OK, that will be fine" or "I am terribly sorry, but we cannot accommodate the delay". I received a haughty, disdainful, snippy notification that there would be another party at 8:45, instead.
Upon arrival, we were greeted pleasantly by one hostess, who proceeded to show us to our table. Another hostess then walked up and said, "Oh, is that the xxx party that is late". It was awkward. It was rude.
This was my first impression of what should be a great experience and dinner. Even on a Saturday, there is no excuse for a less than hospitable welcome. And, there were numerous empty tables throughout our visit.
Fortunately, our waiter and the food were excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its service and interesting combinations of flavors and cooking techniques.
Re-train your hostesses on simple Southern hospitality and telephone manners, though.
I went for lunch for the first time here, and it was very good! The banh mi sandwiches were very flavorful.
