Juju serves up small plates with bold flavors, each prepared creatively with attention to tradition, whimsy, local integrity, and, of course, deliciousness. In addition to its extensive and delicious menu, Juju features a dynamic beverage program of hand-made cocktails, extensive Sake selections and a well-chosen list of artisan wines and craft beers.
Dine at the exquisite bar, in the luxurious booths, in the main dining room, or around the fire pit on the patio. Make a meal from small plates or order a whole Peking duck to share with friends.
Just come ready for a memorable experience.
The food was outstanding, all 6 small plates and 2 desserts we ordered were excellently prepared, especially the octopus! Our server disappeared for a while, but eventually one of the hosts stepped in to fill the void. We are looking forward to dining there again when we return to Durham.
Everything was great! A friend and I stopped in to catch up over tapas and drinks. Ordered 5 dishes and loved every single one. Highly recommend the fried chicken bao - mouthwatering.
It was our first time at Juju, and we had an awesome time. All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful, and my Bangkok fever cocktail was delicious and spicy. By far, our favorite menu item was the spare rib wontons. We’ve already decided that we’ll have to get multiple orders next time. I’d also recommend saving enough room for dessert. My companions thought the lemon curd was excellent, but I preferred the chocolate and peanut butter mousse. We only visited last night, and we’ve already made our next reservation! My only warning: beware the parking situation. There were very few open spots in the entire lot, so leave a little extra time to hunt for spaces.
Great energy and awesome food. Fabulous place to share with friends. Definitely make a reservation.
Some food was undercooked and another was overcooked and returned. Drink orders never showed up. Waiter had too many tables.
I’d recommend JuJu with a his caveat: don’t go with friends you’d like to have conversation with. The noise level and general busyness of the place was very off-putting. The food was interesting though, and that made the reservation worthwhile.
Amazing Asian tapas. The roasted cauliflower is the best thing I have had in a long time. Packed with flavor and textures.
Very pleasant family dinner.
Service was somewhat slow for not being busy. Waited mainly for drinks and initial orders. Food was mixed. Vegetable dishes (cauliflower and brussel sprouts) were ok. Meat dishes were very good. Wontons, dumplings, fried chicken steamed buns were excellent.
Peking Duck is always fantastic. Great family celebration
Great place! Always Consistent. My family thoroughly enjoyed it.
Good food. Small plates. Expensive. Fun. Good for groups as you get to share more plates.
We visited on a Friday night. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. Will definitely return.
Delicious flavors. Yummy mixed drinks. We’ll definitely be back!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the triangle. I would highly recommend the crispy brussel sprouts, the fried chicken steamed buns, and the crispy beef short rib wontons.
We had a fantastic experience at Juju. The food was incredible - interesting flavor combinations that were absolutely delicious and fun to try. We highly recommend and will be going back.
Great and plentiful gluten free options.
Excellent food, drinks and service
Everything we ate was amazing
Good food, nice staff
great service. incredible menu. delicious food. what more could you ask for?
Was looking forward to Juju, the restaurant is lovely and the service was great, but the food was barely so-so. The dumplings weren't super flavorful, maybe even just a bit more salt would have made a difference, and the Sichuan chicken was just OK. I also couldn't even finish the corn and shrimp dumplings, the flavors just didn't mix right. Everything sounded so good but ultimately the flavors were just overwrought the way they mixed together. There are so many other dishes we would have to try to give this place a fair review, but I will find it hard to go back there if "the standards" just aren't so good. Sorry Juju!
Cool, exiting place. Recommended
It was a little spicy for me but the people I brought were very happy with it I’d recommend rhe place
The bone marrow was amazing! We were with friends who had never tried bone marrow before and it was definitely their favorite dish of the night.
The waiter was quite slow though, taking a long time to get us our drinks and overall didn’t seem that interested in being there.
Rebecca was great!
Amazing as always! Love it
Great food and service. A little pricey for tapas but it’s outstanding food.
The mushroom/cabbage dumplings are the best! Great service, happy with the tapas with an asian flare.
Surprisingly good! Very chic and cool place with good food. Would recommend and come back again.
Took my wife for a birthday for our first visit. Our waiter said he was in his first week or two on the floor, but he did quite well. We shared a total of five plates of various sizes. All were fantastic, but our favorites were the tuna bites and the charred corn. The charred corn is surprisingly heavy & filling (because butter). My wife mostly doesn't eat non-seafood meat, so I can't comment on that portion of the menu for this visit. We both had a bourbon apple cider cocktail that I suspect is seasonal (fall), but worth drinking any time of year. This place was a bit more expensive than some other tapas places in the Durham area, but I think the food was commensurately better.
We went here for our anniversary. The wait staff was very friendly and nearly everyone we encountered knew it was our anniversary. In fact, 4 different people congratulated us. The food was amazing as well. Will definitely be returning!
Excellent food across the board—nothing disappointed out of 8 choices for our table. Good advice from our server. Busy on a Saturday night but not too loud to talk. Really outstanding overall.
Small plates in the shape of apps, salads, dumplings, desserts... I don't eat meat but there are always great choices. Only low mark is for chicken fried oysters. Too much chicken fried, not much oyster. But I love JuJu!
This was our first time visiting and we were very pleased. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The drinks were also delicious. Everything was priced fairly for the portions and quality. Overall, a great experience.
Perhaps the most enjoyable and delicious meal we have had this year. The menu is imaginative and extremely well executed. The service was outstanding and added immensely to our dining experience. Our server guided us to our selections with a sense of truly wanting us to have a great time. The space was a delight to the eye and the seating comfortable. The noise level was light to moderate and did not detract from the meal. We had a fun and delicious dinner and cannot wait to go back.
The food was amazing and the decor was very metropolitan. Nice classy place and good vegan options.
This was my second visit but first time eating inside. The food is outstanding - an interesting variety of small servings. The staff are excellent, too. For example, there was one dish we did not like and the waiter gave us a credit for that serving. The big negative was that because of rain, we had to eat inside, and it was just too noisy to talk comfortably with my out-of-town guest. On the plus side, the staff was super helpful and moved us from a very noisy area to an area that was a bit less noisy. I will definitely be back because the food is really special, but I will always sit outside (unless they can do something to improve the indoor accoustics).
Jen was an amazing server. We totally enjoyed our 2nd experience with her attention and guidance!
