Mussels were delicious
The staff just couldn’t be nicer and dinner was fantastic. We had the prixe fix meal which is available all night on Sunday. The steak and frites just melt in your mouth. Mussels are always a win here. Very nice decor. A favorite in our neighborhood.
Always a great meal. Staff and food are top notch. A neighborhood fave!
We continue to revisit this nice but dated French restaurant. Our table was located in a back corner. Cramped and warm. Other than that disappointing location we enjoyed the excellent food. My wife dad Dover sole and I had the special catch a nice breaded cod. Nice selection of wines.
As always a great place if you are looking for real Belgian moules et frittes 😍
As usual, Jubilee hit on all marks. The staff is world
class and the food follows that same distinction.
Soup de Jour was split pea - a favorite of mine so the Escargot which I thought I would be ordering will wait until next time. And I enjoyed another favorite - Steak Tartar. Profiteroles for dessert topped off a terrific evening.
The staff was welcoming and very friends, the restaurant is extremely clear and tidy, and most importantly smells so good, above all food tastes so yummy.
Really enjoyed a great dinner highlighted by the best soft shell crabs I have had in a long long time. Cannot say enough about them. Also enjoyed the foie gras and the grand mariner souffle. Very highly recommended.
In addition to the great food service was also excellent
We always enjoy habit dinner here. The food is delicious and well prepared. The menu offers many choices. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. A little bit of France is present in NYC.
C’était fantastique!! Merci beaucoup!
delicious pork chop, gazpacho and grilled octopus. but wine needed to be decanted. too much sediment, especially at that price.
Everything was most agreeable; the cuisine, the service, the ambience. The quail lollipop (Don't be missled by the cutesy name.) is an inspired creation. Our waiter, Moh, was friendly, courteous and helpful with menu choices and wine selections. Nous attendons notre retour a Jubilee avec impatience.
Great mussels and a fig/goat cheese salad that must be tried.
Consistently good food.
The food is always good and the vibe is always Jubilant
I WENT TO THIS RESTURANT FOR MY FRIENDS BIRTHDAY. WHAT A DELIGHTFUL TIME. THE MANAGER WAS A DOLL AND THE WAITER WAS VER PROFESSIONAL. THE FOOD WAS DELISIOUS.
It is always a pleasure to dine here. And, for the first time, I had drinks at the bar where bartender Clark was absolutely charming to me and my guest.
Outstanding service and food!
Attentive service by hostesses and servers. Good portions. Tasty food.
Always delicious French food at this Sutton Place local. The onion soup is usually outstanding. Almost as good as Julia Child’s recipe. The steak with bearnaise sauce is cooked to perfection, as are the terrific French fries. The duck is great. It’s served already sliced with a deep rich wine sauce. Yum. A very nice wine list temps, though many bottles are rather pricey. Go. Enjoy. Bon appetit.
Fabulous. Food was excellent and waiter was very helpful
Jubilee is a local restaurant. Staff know many of the patrons and the bar is often full of regulars. Excellent wait staff, charming ambiance, good bar atmosphere. Dover sole was excellent, as were the mussels (many varieties) and the chocolate souffle was also very good. A “go to” whenever I am in NYC. Clientele seems to be 40 and above.
Wonderful as always!
We love the beach! We never expected to find a beach in both of our mussels entrees! The devil is always in the details, and it would appear someone didn’t give a damn about the details of our dinner
As usual - excellent food, atmosphere, and service. You can’t go wrong with Jubilee! And if you live in the area and haven’t been to Jubilee...What are you waiting for?
As always a pleasure to go to. We usually go to Jubilee when we are craving a portion of their fantastic mussels with fries. Delicious. Great attentive service and high quality of ambience.
We eat at Jubilee quite often. This time the soft shell crabs missed the mark. The new shell seems to have already started regrowing and we wound up having to spit out the bits that were too crunchy. The scallops, as always, were amazing. So was the corn soup and the snails. The waiter was attentive but not intrusive. The hostess was, as usual, a bit insincere. But, we will keep going, because in 5 years, this was the first miss with the food which has always been spot on and perfect.
We love Jubilee overall. Great menu, atmosphere, service. This time I want to mention a couple things. first the Gazpacho really is superb. I make my own and my husband loves it. It is rare for him to like one at a restaurant as well OR BETTER than mine. but it is truly grand.
Second, we decided to share the Dover sole Menuiere. We usually do share things, and the $58 price encouraged it. We have a special fondness for this dish as our teen age son fell in love with fish when he ordered this dish at a small restaurant on the Normandy coast! Anyway, yours was heavenly. Compliments to the chefs on both foods. We really enjoy all that we order. The grilled octupus, the tomato salad, and of course the various Moule! We live in Texas so don't get up that often, but next trip--we will be back!
Lovely restaurant. Highly recommend. Food was delicious (branzino).
Food was excellent. Great place away from tourist area. We’ll be back when we are in New York!
We eat here fequently and Jubilee never disappoints. The menu changes seasonally, and I look forward to the great Summer or Winter selections.
Had dinner here over Memorial Day weekend. Place was not busy. Service is always attentive. Good size portions. Have eaten here many times. Enjoyed the mussels.
We made a reservation for a corner table at the bar. It was unavailable, but they had us waiting instead of asking if we wanted to sit at another table in the same area.
Excellent value and service
Excellent food, very much french, good wine, and delicius desserts
Soft shell crabs were mushy and swimming in a plate of butter (oil) and spinach liquid. I couldn't eat it.
Very relaxing atmosphere and well prepared food. Enjoyed the meal. Since it was Mothers Day, I felt They should have given the mothers a flower - piece of chocolate - or something else to commemorate the day.
There was only one other table occupied for lunch
I asked for a salad with tuna. No tuna I got a small bowl of greens. No tomatoes. I have eaten here before only because of the convenience of friends but not again
Always consistent! Our “go-to” local neighborhood restaurant. Friendly service. Highly recommended!
