Always a favorite in the “hood”
My wife and I hadn’t been to Jubilee in a while. We were delighted to find Chef Luc’s cuisine even better than we remembered, and Mme Ilda’s team out front as gracious and attentive as always. It’s obvious that everyone at Jubilee is intent on providing a superb dining experience for their guests; they succeed mightily. We’ll return soon.
The food was outstanding, our server Took care of us and made us feel really special. We will be back for sure.
They’ve done a brilliant job inside the restaurant! We felt safe and the quality was the same as always- terrific ‼️
We had a very good dining experience. The food was good and the service very good. If you have not tried it, it would be worth it.
The 4 of us all enjoyed the food and it was OK sitting outside. One of my friends didn't want to sit inside and the restaurant was nice enough to change my reservation to outside when I called earlier in the day.
Simply the best place in the Sutton Place area. The food is excellent, the staff is wonderful and it is very private and clean. 🥂
The food was great and we loved the outdoor seating area withe the heater above us. Staff were fantastic and so attentive.
We sat inside and felt very safe. Glad to be inside
Little shortcomings like a slow fan were no match to the spectacular food. I’ve seen several people at my party lick their fingers when they thought no one was looking. Absolutely delicious. We’ll be back.
Always a great dining experience here!
The food and service at Jubilee is always wonderful and the restaurant is just starting to offer indoor seating. It's getting a little too cold to eat outside and lots of people aren't comfortable indoors just yet. Sitting out in First Avenue is VERY loud and noisy -- and cold. The restaurant isn't cheap but the food is a real treat.
Wonderful food great neighborhood atmosphere. Have done a great job in this environment making everyone feel safe.
I’ve been going to Jubilee for years and I must say the service inside was weak to say the least. Also they were told 3x’s it was my birthday never put a candle in the cake .
An enjoyable evening and meal, well handled by staff and management in these difficult times.
Their outdoor dining space is really nice. The food, as always was delicious!!!
Only second time In NY since Covid. Restaurant had a great outdoor seating setup nevertheless we elected to eat inside. Ate in empty room so completely safe. Food great as ever. Foie gras, chicken and a grand married souffle coupled with a nice Chardonnay. Service very very good.
When we left the outside was still quite busy so hopefully the restaurant is beginning to recover from the earlier shutdown
We highly recommend Jubilee. Either inside or outside hard to beat
Good food and service. Outdoor space done well
Always happy to dine at Jubilee. Food delicious, staff and service delightful.
Jubilee is one of the most consistently wonderful restaurants in NYC. They have adapted beautifully to outside dining during the COVID-19 pandemic. Service is friendly and attentive. The mussels (5 types) are a real treat. It must be difficult to adapt to this new type of outdoor dining, but Jubilee has done so brilliantly.
outdoor dining on the side walk due to covid
better ambiance inside but given circumstances we were pleased to be out side
like all outdoor adjustments, public traffic walks by
again, ok given circumstances but the excellent food would be even better in an indoor venue
we will be back
They have done a great job setting up the Outdoor dining experiences, and the Food and Services are superb!
My meal was one of the best I have had anywhere — roasted scallops on a bed of creamy risotto and a side of sautéed baby Brussels sprouts.
I ordered my steak medium rare. It came a little too rare so I asked our waitress to have the chef cook it for “just two more minutes”. It came back after my dinner partner had finished his meal and was like shoe leather over well done. I didn’t say anything because I just wanted to be done had three bites and left. Was not worth $45, won’t be back again.
Can't wait to come back! What a great niche that Jubilee fills in between the bistro and fancy-shmancy French restaurants.
Service à little slow. But who cares. We got free drinks and food is amazing.
I love this place!! The food is consistently good and the wait staff I so friendly. I am so happy they are open again for business
Great portions, friendly staff and spacious outdoors ambiance
Love Jubilee! It's consistently good. Nice that they've added additional outdoor dining.
Great service. Attentive staff and great food. Our server Sam did a very good job. We had the onion soup and gazpacho for starters. Gazpacho was outstanding, totally made from fresh ingredients. Followed with Niçoise salad and comte cheese tavoli which was superb. Drinks and our wine was delicious as was the creme brûlée. We will be back.
my first outdoor eating experience, table quit, service excellent as usual and food always worth a trip. drinks always top quality. a positive dining experience
Always great food and service
A very disappointing evening. A Restaurant that we always enjoyed in the past. The owner insisted that we needed to sit on the side of the restaurant because she needed the other tables for four people. however that was not the case she sat parties of two at those tables very rude. I had asked the waiter if the mussels were medium size mussels and he said yes. The mussels were so tiny you could hardly find them and when I approached the owner about it she said they would be at the bottom of the bowl when I finished because I told her that most of the shells were empty. That was another untruth. It’s unlikely that we will go back to this restaurant really a disappointment
Chose Jubilee based on Open Table recommendations and couldn't have been happier at the choice! Outdoor seating was spacious and comfortable, menu was complete, Soufflés for desert and all! Food was excellent and delicious as expected and there was no rush or cut corners, just fine evening overall. In fact went back following night for desert and coffee! If your looking for great night out, great dining and amazing Soufflé's (the blueberry was outstanding!!) then this is the place to go...
Always wonderful dining at Jubilee.
Really delicious dinner with friends on double date. My second time there and I will be back. Looking forward to dining inside again. More intimate and quiet than on the sidewalk. Great time. Food so good!
It was dinner outside, socially distanced. They’ve done a lovely job of creating a cozy space! I wish they were on a side street; other restaurants in the neighborhood have better locations, but none of them have food as tasty as Jubilee ‼️
Very nice set up outside in these trying times. Although there was a lot of traffic, it was still enjoyable. Good food. Prepared how you want it. Also a nice selection of appetizers.
I'm writing a delayed review because I cut them some slack at the time due to COVID. But I've had many other far superior outdoor dining experiences elsewhere since my dinner visit to Jubilee and not one was as bad as Jubilee. Even the bread was stale and unpleasant. When we asked the waiter about the size of an appetizer we considered sharing, he described the portion as small and not suitable for splitting. So we each ordered one. He lied. It was enormous and neither of us finished our awful soup appetizer. The quality of our main dishes ranged from poor to we didn't want to finish eating it. Perhaps they've made an adjustment since I was there, but if they haven't done so yet, I suggest Jubilee pares down their menu so they can offer a few items done well vs. many options all done poorly. Based on my experience, I won't be back. PS: It was among the more expensive meals I've had during COVID.
