Ambience is very nice and taste is great!
We must be visiting again.
Shared Jubilee with friends who had never been. They loved everything; the food, the decor, the ability to sit and have a conversation and hear the person sitting across from you. Another great experence.
Excellent dinner. Shared foie grad and a grand mariner soufflé. For mains we had two specials beef bourguignon and cow sure vin. Both excellent made even better by great mashed potatoes. Always happy to come to Jubilee. Very highly recommended
My husband and I had a wonderful Valantine's celebration. We bothcloved it.
A beautiful gem on 1st Avenue that more people should know about.
going back every time for my special occasion...
My neighborhood favorite. The food is always on target
My favorite restaurant in NYC. I bring all my friends.
Met up with my sister-in-love for a late lunch. Jubilee was a neighborhood favorite of my mother-in-love. Not only was our lunch delicious, it was so pleasant. Our hostess was beyond hospitable. She really made an ordinary mid-week lunch amazing and memorable!
best mussels in the city. and their fries are great. good wine list with a few real values
NEver disappoints! Excellent food ! Might be nice if owners , when they work, were a little more friendly and appreciate loyal customers!
Excellent food and service. Will definitely return.
Excellent food. Great service.
marvelous moules and excellent branzini -- can't wait to go back for more of both
Looking for a CLASSY DELICIOUS BOOZY BRUNCH? Look no further! Wow, this place was amazing from start to finish. The service was impeccable and the food matched. 👏🏼🔥
We had a 12:15 Reservation on a Saturday that I had booked that same morning. Upon arrival there were a few tables. We were seated at a lovely curved booth in the back. The crowd was a bit older we are in our later 20s and we were the youngest there. However when we left it was much more busy, guess we made it for the early bird special. Lol 😂 They do only open at noon.
My friend and I both opted for the Pre Fix. You get an Appetizer, Entree, & 3 Drinks choice of Bloody Mary or Mimosa all for $32.
I got the Homemade Country Pâté served with Dijon mustard, I thought this dish was very flavorful and delightful. Light, not too heavy I ate it on the fresh bread they serve(so good). My friend got the French Onion Soup for an additional $5.
Entrees we shared a Ham, Swiss Cheese, Onion, Mushroom Omelette and a Ham Eggs Benedict. They were very good and great portion sizes, my friend had to take some home!
Everything came out Hot and Timely with superb presentation. Moussa our server made this an amazing experience, my friend who never comments on things like that even said something to me. So thank you Moussa! We will definitely be back to try their dinner! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 👏🏼
both my wife and I ordered the mussels in the white wine. Mussels had no taste or flavor. Disappointed.
Really good place, very good service. The foie grass is great.
Always fantastic. This is a first class meal, truly delicious... always.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Jubilee 1st Avenue. The service was attentive but quite understated and the decor was quite attractive. A perfect restaurant for a romantic dinner--or a fun party which was observed at a table close by which was celebrating a diner's birthday. The food was delicious. The steak frite was prepared perfectly medium rare as requested and moules with garilc and butter was fantastic. The dish was prepared similarly to escargot but the plate overflowed with mussels. Jubilee is a keeper.
This is now our "go to" French bistro. Lovely in all ways. My friend had their omelet. She knew she wanted an omelet, but their menu only showed a mushroom omelet. She didn't want mushroom and they quickly accommodated her request without the slightest hesitation. It came to the table fluffy and delicious. A real treat. I had their liver which was superbly executed! Delicious. Ending with profiteroles - it was a memorable lunch with a good friend. The service was attentive and excellent overall. We already discussed going back very soon.
Food was great but lady next to us was on her cell phone loudly
Food is always delicious but the service wasn’t great. We had 3 different waiters!
Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food
A wonderful evening with friends. I always leave there feeling I’ve had a delicious meal in a comfortable environment and I walk home happy and satisfied.
Consistently good food and great service in a pleasant if tight setting.
Great ambience, friendly staff, outstanding food. Can’t wait to go back!
Was perfect. Good food good service and low noise level.
Couldn’t be better. Going back soon!
Excellent dinner. Shared foie grad, for mains had duck confit and roast chicken, for dessert shared grand mariner souffle. Every course excellent. Enjoy each visit. On this visit was seated for first time in a side room. Very pleased they sat us there. Highly recommended
I had not been to Jubilee in more than seven years and was delighted to find them in a larger but still warm and cozy space, with attentive service and reliably fine French bistro cuisine. I had a glass of Sancerre and an excellent quiche and salad for lunch with a good friend. We had much business to discuss, and that was what I liked the best. Despite many full tables, Jubilee was quiet enough for conversation.
Fabulous food, great service.
Consistently good. We go frequently and like it a lot. I recommend it ... you won't be disappointed... Very nice menu..
Excellent choice on New Year’s menu.
We went for an early NYE dinner with 2 other couples. It was perfect!
One of the best ever!!! It is always good! You can never go wrong with Jubilee!!!
We started with the mussels in tomato sauce with chorizo. When you take off the pot cover a wonderful aroma tells you what is to come. This is a great appetizer to share it’s plentiful and fun. The broth is a delicious soup you’ll want to dip into. My husband and I had the scallops, delicious! My son ordered the sole, this was prepared franchise and served with a brown butter sauce, yummy! Definitely a favorite place to dine!
Every Holiday Season our growing family converge on NYC and head to Jubilee. We have enjoyed this restaurant time and again. We have enjoyed and followed Jubilee to all 3 locations. We have celebrated many occasions over the past many years. Our children have celebrated there and so far 4 generations of our family have eaten there.
We have always had wonderful service, but this time it was exceptional! Thank you Jubilee for never disappointing us!
Reliable French cuisine with many classics, including the cassoulet and quenelle that we enjoyed.
