Neighborhood gem! Absolutely everything on the menu is fantastic. Best french fries in the city!
Wonderful food with very attentive and polite staff. Much less cramped than most NYC restaurants and quiet enough to have a conversation. Pricey but not outrageous- worth it for a nice night out. Will definitely return!
P.S. try the curried mussels!
loved jubilee! food was excellent, the service warm and the setting inviting. also loved the chill and quiet vibe.
I loved that we were not rushed, which allowed us to enjoy the delicious food, ambiance, and food service. It is worth the commute to 1st Avenue, even if you do not live in the area!
A great Thanksgiving (or anytime) option! Delightful meal - appreciated they offered many of their regular, noteworthy dishes too.
Thanksgiving Dinner. Perfect in every way. Great waiter (best mojitos). Food plentiful. Thankful for snail appetizers.
My family and I went to Jubilee for Thanksgiving this year. We have gone there on other occasions, including Thanksgiving two years ago. We enjoyed it on previous occasions, but this year, the duck entree was really subpar. One of the people in our party sent it back, and no one liked it, but they just ate it anyway. It's a shame since we liked the restaurant so much in the past. I know everyone has a bad day, including chefs, but the price was too steep for food at that caliber.
A lovely Thanksgiving dinner. Delicious food and wine in a very warm and festive setting. I even had leftovers!
Delicious food, beautifully prepared, in comfortable and quiet surroundings.
The pate and mussels were very good. The salad was wilted and tired. The charge for a tito martini was out of line at $18.50.....waitstaff was attentive and the room is lovely...but really ...
Went for brunch but selected their « specialty Cassoulet » Very nicely prepared. We enjoyed it. Hostess and server were very pleasant. Thank you
We have been dining at this restaurant since 1991 every time we visit New York. Last night was no exception. The food was wonderful and hot. The restaurant is like being in someone’s home. The hostess could not have been cuter and our waiter was just great. They just do it all right. It is not cheap but you get a good deal in quality and for Manhattan it is pretty average in price.
Very good neighborhood dining!!
Always great. Escargot is tender and fantastic. Drinks also solid and generous pour.
Excellent food, as always.
Very good place, the ambiance at night is great, the food delicious and the service excellent.
Very good as per usual!
Jubilee is a great Restauant to go with friends. The food is good, the ambiance is fine but the best thing is that you will be able to talk and hear each other.
The staff couldn't be nicer -- everyone from the hostess to the servers were charming and professional. Food was top notch. Well received by my guests.
I have always loved the modules frites I decided to try something new. I was not disappointed. The duck confit it was wonderful.
Staff and food are outstanding:-)
The best French Fries in NYC. Love the mussels too. Fabulous French wines and great service.
Food is fine. Service is never ver good. We’re either rushed or forgotten.
Hats off to the culinary team at Jubilee 1st Avenue! We enjoyed a fine meal from amuse bouche, to appetizers, to main course to dessert souffle. We are looking forward to returning soon!
In New York medical reasons, last meal before surgery. I had the scallops on orzo which was delicious. The scallops perfectly seared the orzo was just right and the sauce was delicious. My wife had the quenelles also delicious. We both had the cauliflower soup, very light yet full of cauliflower flavor.
The 5 stars say it all.
The management acknowledges that for some digital ordering leaves out something of our dining pleasure - enjoying a repartee with our server and in the case of Jubilee the management. The fact that the iPad was subtly removed without a request took the restaurant from 4.5 stars to 5 stars.
We only get to the City once or twice a year an now we feel like a valued customer and a local.
We had their pre theatre menu which is very good. I think there are less appetizer choices than before. We both chose the pate in any case. the other choices are salads or the soup of the day. I had the mussels which are always good and my husband enjoyed the salmon.
My favorite bistro-type restaurant... if you have a desire for moules frites! Very good food and wonderful, friendly service. Wine list is appropriate for a bistro. I'll be back.
We do not visit NYC without making at least one stop here. Brunch and the prix fixe dinner are great value for quality. Everything is excellent but the “moules” are our favorite!
Love the restaurant. Reliably excellent. Cosy, warm and welcoming
Delicious meal. Excellent service. A gem.
This was our first time to Jubilee. The hostess showed us to our table, it was the perfect size, you know what I mean. Sometimes you can’t fit a bottle of wine and the bread basket. And she left us with a visual menu , my favorite! No guess work trying to order the dish you saw getting server to another table. These pictures didn’t lie. For appetizers we shared an order of mussels in tomato and chorizo sauce, delicious. Save your bread for dipping. Dinner was scallops with mushroom orzo times two. Presentation was wonderful and it tasted even better. Of course we had a bottle of wine, we did have the room! The staff was friendly and professional . I predict many return trips.
The food was very good and the ambience was fun. We felt like we were in France.
I forgot my phone and would like to get my 100 points & use my accumulated points another time
Always so nice to sit in a well maintained and run restaurant. Food is always excellent. Wonderful place for brunch. We will be back!
Delightful restaurant with very cozy but vibrant ambience. Excellent food.
From the greeting upon arrival and the departure after dessert the staff and service were outstanding. The food was delicious as usual. A cozy warm atmosphere with great food and service Great way to spend an evening with friends
Jubilee is my go-to classic French neighborhood restaurant that serves my favorite scallop over orzo dish. The chef is very creative and makes use of seasonal ingredients. It helps that everything is reasonably priced. I look forward to my fifth dining experience in Jubilee.
Last days of the soft shell crab - Clark was our waiter- doesn't get much better !
Outstanding as always. Never disappoints!
