First time out in 14 months!

One of my favorite spots! I was surprised by having a table in their dining room! I do love their patio, though.

We had a lovely time there. We thought the back patio had a great atmosphere and the food was really yummy. All in all we were very pleased!

Another great meal in the beautiful patio, and they're opening back up for more seating indoors, too, for those who are willing to go back to indoor dining right now.

We ate on the outdoor patio with plenty of natural air circulation. The food was excellent. The halibut was poached and very tender. The sauces had great flavors. The cocktails were original. Our server was knowledgable about the menu and was very helpful.

OUTSTANDING dinner. Wonderful cocktail, very special second course of white polenta with roasted vegetables, then amazing sturgeon on a bed of created spinach as puréed potatoes. The desserts were lovey. Definitely coming back SOON!

Amanda was the most warm and kind host for a meal that felt like such a breath of fresh air. Everything was delicious and seasoned perfectly, and the dynamic wine list paired exceptionally well. I can't wait to return.

Amazing meal -- everything was perfectly prepared. The outdoor patio was nice and warm on a chilly night. And service was excellent. It felt very Covid safe (tables spaced well apart, servers properly masked, etc.)

We love the outdoor dining area. It was beautifully quiet most of the time we were there and so good to be able to converse with people we hadn’t seen in a long time. We loved our cocktails, the food was delicious and the service was perfect.

Hands down one of the best places to dine in the east bay. Food is killer, but the pastry chef is next level. LEAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! Not to mention stellar service and a great outdoor dining setup.

The patio is well designed re space, light, heat, sound, and ambience. The wait person was patient and informed and helpful. Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Felt like a real night out at a favorite local bistro.

J &M is a great neighborhood restaurant. The food and service are outstanding.

We celebrated my mother’s birthday on their rear elevated patio. Be warned, it is not easily accessible for those less able - there are stairs. The environment was lovely and convivial though also weekday appropriate. The food was exemplary, the service outstanding and the whole experience was so wonderful we’re anxious to recreate it. Hats off to the whole team! Juanita & Maude’s had been at the top of our to do list for over a year and were so glad to report it was worth the wait!

We really like Juanita and Maude. We like the cocktails we love the ambiance and the service is always excellent. The food has been hit or miss for us. Some items we absolutely are obsessed with while others really miss the mark completely. We will continue to come but probably for drinks and appetizers only.
