Located in the heart of Brickell, Juana M Brickell is a true hidden gem, tucked away but definitely worth hunting down. The restaurant carries on the tradition of the Palermo district in Buenos Aries. It fuses together vintage décor with modern designs flawlessly giving the entire restaurant a very unique feel.
The food at Juana M Brickell is also the result of a fusion of Argentinean and American cuisine. That being said, the majority of the vintages on the wine list come from Argentina. On most days, Juana M Brickell features any of a number of eclectic bands playing live music that you can enjoy while eating anything from a turkey sandwhich to a Caesar salad.
When I walked in I could barely hear the hostess since the DJ booth was right next to the check in area. After that we were told to sit anywhere. My date and I sat at a table a little distance away from the kitchen. We waited more than 30 minutes for someone to bring us water. Waited another 10 minutes to get our order and another 45 minutes for our food. Waiting for our food I was annoyed by the ambiance because it was so hot and everything took to long. But besides of the horrible service, the food was actually good. However I will not be coming back here again to experience the horrible service.
