It was a very mixed experience - my wife & I both ordered the Ribeye. Her's had a bunch of grissel, mine was one of the most tender I've had. The standout issue was they finish the steak with an herbed butter. I butter all of my steaks & love it but the herbed butter was extremely strong & overpowered the steak by a ton. I would HIGHLY recommend asking for normal butter & that on the side if you prefer the flavor. I loved the ambiance, leather faced wooden menus, etc. Good experience all in all, would go again & request normal butter.

Visited the Steakhouse on June 1, 2025. We very much enjoyed the service from our attentive server. The food we ordered was delicious. We especially like trying a new salad dressing called Basque. Next time we visit Ely, we are going back to JT's Steakhouse!!!

So amazing, our service was superb!!! The filet was perfect and baked potato was unreal. Randy made me the best old fashioned drink I've ever had, the drink was recommend by our server, her other job is a pe teacher. 💯💗

We enjoyed our meal at JTs Steakhouse. The filet was delicious and cooked perfectly. The salads were a step above most with chunks of blue cheese and fresh ingredients. The blueberry lavender mojito was delicious and my other half had a NA Mule. Both were served in pretty drink ware. I was impressed that they had 6 NA beer choices and a list of NA mocktails. Our server was friendly and attentive. In addition, I liked the farmhouse setting, ranch photos, and real flowers at every table. We will try to eat at JTs Steakhouse every time we are in Ely, NV.

We had a great experience at JTs. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The New York strip steak was cooked just right and was very tender. We had Basque salad and loaded mashed potatoes for our sides and they were excellent. Our waiter was awesome! We will definitely go back again!

Absolutely love eating and drinking here. Robin is the absolute best of anyone anywhere!!!! Love love love JTs. Jess and Terrell have an amazing hangout!

We love JT’s! Our server, Savanna, is always so friendly and helpful. The food (steak sandwich and lamb chops) was delicious and Tammy made the yummiest drinks. Dessert was amazing (chocolate cake and crème brûlée). We have never had anything but positive experiences at JT’s. They are the best!
