Housed in a beautifully restored 1923 farmhouse, J’s provides a warm and rustic ambiance, panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and orchards. The weather was gorgeous on Thursday so we were able to be seated outdoors. Such a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere. Our server, Jasper, was terrific as usual. She is knowledgeable, friendly but not too so, all the while maintaining professionalism. We love it here!

Excellent meal with wonderful service. We were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the pricing is. With views of the vineyard it felt like we were in Europe. Lengthy catch up with an old friend, yet we felt no pressure to hurry.

We just had the most pleasant, enjoyable dining experience at J’s. The night started with a warm greeting upon entering. Our table was situated in one of the several small rooms. The acoustics were just fair at the beginning because the area was full. As the night rolled along, a few of the tables emptied and the sound level improved accordingly. Everyone who served our table was warm and friendly. Christine was our primary and she was very professional and personable. Marissa spent quality time with us as well. Our meals were outstanding. The crab cakes and squash soup, superb and beautifully presented. The entrees-swordfish and scallops-perfectly cooked and shown. While the prices were only a touch below Boston, because they have their own winery, the savings on the bottle we obtained easily offset the food cost. J’s has become our go to restaurant. If you are looking for a romantic dinner with excellent food and service, you should consider coming here!

The restaurant is very welcoming but wished the AC (if they have it) was set a little cooler. The room we were in was warm. The hostess was pleasant. Service was OUTSTANDING! Marissa, our server, took the time to explain items on the cocktail/wine list and menu items. The tapas board for sharing was excellent. The potatoes had the right amount of spice; the shrimp was very flavorful and juicy, and the chorizo and salami had the perfect amount of spice to complement our cocktails/wine selections. The Nashoba Apple Manhattan was excellent. I also had a glass of the Renaissance Red blend with dinner which was an excellent pairing with the venison. The main courses, venison, halibut and scallops, were well presented on the plate. The one detail that four out of five people in our party commented on was that the fish and venison were not well seasoned. The venison could have used more Salsa Verde sauce, and the halibut needed more seasoning/sauce. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, conversation and time at J's. We'll be back at some point in the future.

J's Restaurant situated on a beautiful Vineyard in Bolton, was a great destination on a summer night. Food, service, and venue was very charming.

We had a wonderful dinner at J’s. We started with the Tapas board, which included perfectly cooked and chilled garlic shrimp, a selection of cured meats and cheeses, olives, Spanish salad and patatas bravas. We then shared the Spiced Duck, which was melt in your mouth delicious. We wrapped with the olive oil cake with citrus glaze and the port flight. From start to finish, we throughly enjoyed every bite and sip. Highly recommend!!
