We went to Joy to celebrate my son's new job and for the signature short rib sandwich. Upon ordering, we were told that they were out of the sandwich!!!!! How can that be? The server indicated that "they only ordered 4".....what does that even mean? So we stayed and proceeded to place our order only to find out that they were out of the oysters too! The restaurant was not crowded. The staff seemed to be in a bad mood and didn't seem to want to be there. I won't be returning.

The food was delicious - all the dishes, and good servings. Even a simple Caesar salad was exciting with a somewhat spicy twist to the dressing. Dessert was remarkable. Drinks were very good. The servers and everyone who worked there were so pleasant and helpful. It's a delightful find, and parking and access is very easy.

We went for Saturday Brunch. We had the croque madam, which was fine and the smash burger which wasn’t very good due to over cooked onions. They charge $7 for iced tea which is outrageous.

We were all impressed by this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was great and the outdoor dining was perfect.

This is a pretty restaurant in a good location, and has real promise. The service was slow and uneven, but it was the first night for our waitress. We had to constantly ask for things like water refills. Dessert took about 20 minutes to be served after we ordered. For the food-I had the Bronzino, which seemed expensive at $45, but it was delicious and a pretty dish. Two people at the table had the chicken, which is an enormous dish and could be shared. My husband had the shrimp, which was a disappointment. It was beautiful, but only three shrimp and some sauce. Not enough food and somewhat bland. For dessert, the Pina colada dessert was off the chart good. The profiterole was good, with lots of chocolate sauce, but the ice cream was watery. \ The staff was very nice.
