Joy Bistro is a family-owned French-American restaurant. Melissa Claude, the owner, specializes in blending the authentic flavors from Europe and America and preparing scrumptious recipes. Gary Joy, Melissa's husband and co-owner of the restaurant, is a jazz drummer. He plays exclusive music in the restaurant occasionally. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate ambiance. It has semi-formal dining rooms with large windows, offering a nice view of the street. Joy Bistro has been featured in All About Women magazine in 2011 and WNC Magazine in 2013. Ahi tuna tar tar is prepared by tossing fresh tuna tar tar in champagne vinaigrette. It is served with toasted pine nuts, garlic, fresh herbs and shallots. Joyce farms natural chicken is a healthy organic choice at Joy Bistro. Maine diver scallops are prepared with large scallops. The pan-seared scallops are served on cakes of roasted potato pancetta corn hash. The bar serves French wine.

This is a gem - nestled in the back of a strip shop and you just wouldn't expect what you find. Food is amazing, atmosphere great. Menu items are creative, yet chef can prepare foods for special requests or dietary needs. Everything is fresh and fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant...make a reservation.
