    The salads were over-dressed and over salted. The fried calamari was dry and so small in portion size and the dressing/dipping sauce was flavorless. The pork belly was black in color, thus visually unsightly...but had good flavor. The bokchoy was clearly overcooked. The apple 'kimchi' was cold and tasted nothing like kimchi. The sword fish was the only shinning star. Great taste, seasoned and cooked well. The side vegetables were pedestrian.

    When dining at la carte there are only cushions to eat food. Which is very uncomfortable as you have to hunch over just to eat. It looks more of hotel lobby than a dining area.

    Food and service were excellent. We didn't do the "experience" in the back rooms but ate in the front cafe which was open to the street. Very pleasant, although there was a slight problem with the air conditioning. We were offered a table in the back where it was air conditioned but we declined.

    Although the restaurant is beautiful, the food was served cold and had very little taste. in addition the guest that I was waiting for was seated outside at a table by himself. Although he made it clear whose reservation it was, she was seated far away from me in a different room. It's only after 15 minutes when he realized something was wrong that he had to go back to the maître d' and say where am I supposed to be seated. He was then taken to an inside room where I was actually seated. This was unnecessary.

    Previous photos not available due to chef who originally was there is no longer there so therefore menu options were a little different. Very nice setting and very attentive

    A fun, unusual, interactive dinner with good quality food and beverages. Our hostess was personable and led the experience well. I liked the general idea - dining in a volcano, under the sea, and so forth. The projections were very good, if a tiny bit repetitive (though I imagine it's difficult to expand on what they did!) I enjoyed chatting with other guests, and we all got a kick out of doing our own messages and drawings that showed up on the walls (more of that kind of interaction would have been fun.) All in all, a good value for the cost (we received the summer special) and it was nice to do something different in NYC!

    You never know what you're in for when you try a new spot that hasn't been reviewed by many restaurant critics. This one could have been a disaster, since it has an "experience" that might be just a gimmick. We did not sit in the experience room--we ate in the cafe that faces the street and is spacious and attractive. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful in choosing our food and drinks. Delighted that we all enjoyed everything we ordered. The chef is really talented. We may have to go back to try the 5 course experience--which includes video immersion into 5 different locales... The owner is a Bway producer, which makes sense.

    A perfect 10 ! Food service vibe and setting is spectacular! From the minute you walk in you are transported to a cool hip beautifully design space. The immersive dinning is one of a kind and is worth the expense. Great for a Romantic dinner or a group night out. You won’t regret it. Kudos to the chef and the team behind this new exciting venue in Chelsea.

    I booked this restaurant for the digital projection experience it offers, however it was not clearly stated that the a la carte section included no projections. Only the bar seating and the 360. No where on their website was this clarified. When I asked about the projections our server said no just at the bar. And did not offer to move us to the bar when the bar seating was entirely open and remained so the whole time we were there. The food was very mediocre. My friend ordered the cheese burger which came with very different fixings than stated on the menu. Our server seemed mostly unresponsive and disinterested in the questions and concerns we raised. Maybe the 360 experience is very cool but the rest of this place is not. And definitely not worth the hype or the cost. At least have stellar food if you’re not going to give people the tech experience they expected.

    The food is Outstanding! The Staff is very sweet and well-mannered. I felt like I'd never been to a place with so many different experiences in the same space. Highly recommend for group-dinners and a good weekend brunch.

    Just extraordinary! What a fabulous imaginative exciting concept and brilliant execution! We went for brunch- absolutely delicious starting with the best fresh mimosa I’ve ever had - and can’t wait to return for drinks and another menu in the AI-augmented lounge, and also the 2 different 5-course immersive dining experiences in 2 different rooms that the host kindly let us peek into. Bravo to the Journey team! Eager to enjoy often.

    One of the best dinners my boyfriends and I have had recently, and considering that we go to some of the best restaurants in NYC, Journey was a pleasant surprise. The food was amazingly delicious!

    This is a really cool new space in NYC! We sat in the back at a really interesting & funky table, the server called it the "infinity table". The food was just awesome, and the drinks were all unique and terrific as well. I'm going to go back soon to try one of the immersive dining experiences they offer as well.

    Wow! What a fantastic new spot in NOMAD! We enjoyed the 8:30 dinner experience in the Odyssey room. While waiting for the show to begin, we checked out all the cool spaces & settled at the front bar where I had a yummy green gin cocktail. “Sam” the sous chef lead us through each course/country we visited on our culinary journey. Such a neat concept – each table setting has its own projection. The food was amazing; plentiful portions, beautifully presented, and the flavors burst in my mouth. The vegetarian options at the table next to us, gave me a tinge of food envy… Service was excellent & the concept so clever and unique - to watch a show on your plate! A little pricey, but think of it as “dinner and a show”. I’m excited to try out the 360 experience and just hang out in the lounge on the comfy, leather couches.

    Tonight I enjoyed Journey Cafe and the a la carte menu. The food was really incredible. I had the black cod with with the lime glaze and my friend had a vegetarian option, the Carrots & Oyster Mushrooms as our main courses. Both were excellent. I had the Myung-Ran Caesar which was an excellent light take on a caesar salad. For dessert I had a brownie and ice cream concoction and I also tasted my friend's carrot cake with banana ice cream. Both were terrific. I am looking forward to coming back for Journey 360 and Journey Odyssey, the two pre fixe experiences. We were able to get a sneak peak, and I am confident that combining food this good with the video images and story will prove to be over the top wonderful. Also don't miss the video cocktails at the bar, including guest video appearances by Broadway favorites lik Ben Vereen. A great find in the wonderful Flatiron/Nomad area.
