The typical Dutch cosiness means in countries around the Mediterranean 'together'. Taking time for each other around a table full of small dishes and enjoy a glass of wine. Each ordered an average of 3 or 4 dishes per person and then everything on the table is shared socialising. Our chef roams the market looking for seasonal products and likes to combine local produce with Mediterranean spices. In Jottum is preferably cooked with organic, fair trade, and fresh produce.

Outstanding meal. We ate bread, olives, cheese, the eggplant dish and the tuna dish. Absolutely incredible and comforting meal. Oh and how could I forget the cheese cake. Magnificent! Service is impeccable and loved decor. Such a memorable evening.

We were blown away by how good everything was. After two weeks in the Baltics, this was the best meal we had by value by far and one of the top 2 overall. The place is 10-12 tables, with a cozy, warm ambiance. Seemingly served by just one very charming and efficient man. The wine list was short, but solid and incredibly well priced. After the meal I went online and purchased a case of the Rioja we had for just a little less than the restaurant price! The food was amazing. We had 5 orders between two of us. All were great: Turkish pizza, a chicken dish, tenderloin, cucumber/tomato salad, and finished with grilled feta, honey and walnuts. The sauces with chicken and tenderloin matched perfectly. The grilled feta was a “please let me have that recipe!” experience. The least expensive meal we had in our two weeks traveling and one of the top 2 meals. Kudos to the team!!

As we were sat the server suggested ordering 3-4 dishes first and then another 3-4. We thought this was a great idea!! Sangria was amazing!!!! So so good! The Turkish pizza was so good we ordered it both rounds!!! Don’t miss this great place in this beautiful city!!

We stopped here while visiting Amsterdam last weekend. It was a great find; the food was fresh and well priced, the menu selection was varied but included a nice mix of local dishes as well as classic fare, and everything we ate was delicious. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tapas.
