Overall it was nice enough and convenient if staying at the hotel, but didn't stand out as somewhere we'd say 'must go again'. The curry was tasty and made with chicken thighs which were tender, although I prefer chicken breast so I don't have to pick at it. The menu seemed to be a little above average price for the main courses and we thought both desserts were nice but quite small portions for the price (brownie and apple pie).

Not a very good review I'm afraid. Pasta was served luke warm, but was tasty. Pizza was burnt on one side. Fish was mainly batter and what bit of fish in it, was rubbery. My mum was sick all night bringing the fish up. Food took over 45mins, plus same with first drinks order. Evening staff seemed very unorganised and very miserable. Breakfast waitress on the Saturday morning was the complete opposite. She was lovely, friendly, and very helpful. She was genuinely caring towards my 82yr old mother. And she informed the manager about our problem even though we wouldn't normally complain. She was also approachable. We sat in bar area for breakfast as there were familys with Screaming kids in the main restaurant area, both evening and morning.

Meal for 4 adults: Drinks, ordered first, took 45 minutes to arrive. Chow mein was served in 1/2” of broth (more like ramen) and the chicken in the chow mein was like rubber (microwaved?). Pizza margarita was missing the fresh basil promised in the menu but otherwise ok. Prawns were pretty tasteless, ‘skinny fries’ seemed pretty chunky. Scampi was just ‘ok’ and the beet starter was fine, if a little oddly presented (blob of goats’ cheese served between two slices of beetroot?) I’m guessing that their food is precooked off-premises and then reheated. I really can’t believe they have a chef.

Incredibly expensive for average food. I would expect to pay £21 for a steak at a top restaurant, not in a hotel.

Decent burgers. Prawn starter was awful, sauce had no chili or garlic as advertised and was tasteless. Prices too high
