Our Tea Room is designed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for hosting afternoon tea parties, bridal showers, baby showers, holiday parties, corporate events, weddings and more. From the comfortable seating to the beautiful decor, every detail has been carefully chosen to ensure that your guests feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the event. First, guests get to choose their own pot of tea from our list of over 75 high quality tea blends. The first course is our berry delight salad followed by our three tier tray for each table including: assorted croissant and tea sandwiches (1.5 pp), scones and tea biscuits served with Devonshire cream and jam (1 pp), and petit desserts (3 pp). *Experience can be customized for vegan and/or gluten free for $4.00 more per person. $42 PER PERSON DUE ONSITE AT RESTAURANT plus tax and gratuity. Credit card is required to book reservation and is only kept on file in the event of last-minute Cancellation/No Show Fee ($15 per person).

    My mom was very happy with the Mother’s Day tea. We both love afternoon tea and I’m so glad I found it in the area. We love this place for holidays and the owners are always so nice. I love supporting a family run business and it’s great to see them thriving. I highly recommend this little gem.

    The most amazing Mother’s Day experience. It was so lovely, and so kind. The staff and owner were so sweet and made it feel like you were a part of the family. I absolutely recommend the place. So lovely ✨

    Delicious food, great service, aesthetic dining room, and a super friendly atmosphere!! We went for my birthday, and the servers surprised us with a free cupcake and happy birthday song. Will definitely be coming back :)

    We had to pay for 2 no shows to our group. Wish that was stated larger at the top vs fine print at the bottom.

    Hello Sharon, Thanks for the feedback. During the reservation process online the "$15 No Show Fee" is stated multiple times and has to be check marked to agree to the terms to book your reservation. In todays day I understand we all get used to scrolling pass the fine print. I am sorry that you did not realize your guests that did not show would incur a fee. Since we prepare food prior to your reservation we do charge the cancellation fee for the food that was prepared and not paid for. This can be avoided by letting us know prior to your reservation that the number of people in your group has changed. We ask for 24 hours but even accommodate finding out guest changes a couple of hours prior to the reservation. Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Thank you! Shannon Joseph

    This was my first time at JTR and it won’t be my last. Service was fantastic. Food was tasty. Excellent variety of teas! Lots of fun photo ops. Excellent value for the money. I will definitely do this again

    What a lovely experience! So many different teas to choose from! They are very proactive in determining allergies and needs. The afternoon tea had a great selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. So generous that we had bring half of it home. It’s such a pretty atmosphere, very Instagramable. Going to try the Dunedin location next.
