Christmas Eve Special Menus & Offers
Our Christmas Eve Dinner - The last chance to try our Revellion Menu.
The food was amazing. The dining room was gorgeous. This is the perfect pre-Saints game venue! Robert Rizzuto, the food and beverage director came by our table to check on us, and was just a delight! He talked about the menu, the wine, and the history of the building. Can’t wait to return!
Food was good but not outstanding. Solid meal and worth going back.
Here for the weekend, already had enough creole. Looking for local and unique and we found it with this great restaurant. Our service with Melvin was amazing , Sean the manager came by several times to assure our satisfaction, my husband had the pasta and shrimp which was wonderful, and my dish of 48 hour roasted short ribs was exquisite! Such a gem that has yet to be discovered...the word needs to get out!
Great food and atmosphere. The service was slow but it was clear they were just short handed. The waiter was great but it took a long time to get our courses and our check. Would still highly recommend.
Food was great. Highly recommend getting the Cacio e Pepe with Fettucini (instead of canestri). Duck was awesome too!
Food and service were great! The portions are on the smaller side, husband was still hungry after ordering the scallops.
Great atmosphere. Great food.
Service and food were great, food came out pretty quick. Only disappointment was we were not able to order mimosas or bloody Mary’s with breakfast. Overall experience was good.
Wonderful experience with exquisite food. Beautiful atmosphere and loved the live jazz.
Made reservation for 4 for Thanksgiving. We were promptly seated and our waiter Steve was very attentive. One member of our party required gluten free options and was able to be accommodated. Everything was delicious and served in an elegant style. We enjoyed the live music which was not overpowering and appropriate for the occasion.
We would whole heartedly recommend Josephine Estelle.
The food was outstanding! I was impressed with the depth of flavor in every dish. I also loved the vegan and none vegan options. The live music was also fantastic.
Just walking in you get a feeling of warmth. The Thanksgiving fixed-price lunch was amazing. I had been looking for a great place to have turkey before the New Orleans Saints football game when I came across Josephine Estelle. The four course meal was very good. Started with chargrilled oysters and a nice salad. The turkey was very tender and the dressing was very tasty. And, finished with a delicious pumpkin cheesecake. I had never had one. I highly recommend Josephine Estelle. I look forward to returning for their Italian fare. And, to top it off, they had a lively trio playing good music.
Thanksgiving dinner was amazing.
Pastas were very delicious, but large size orders were very small. In addition, the glass pours of wine were the smallest I have ever been served in a restaurant, estimated at 3-4 ounces.
I liked this less than I had hoped to like it. The scallops came out well for my partner. My chicken was pretty mundane and was presented poorly. Also it was too salty. The chicken dish was presented in a bowl with greens and cannelloni beans which was a bit soupy. The chicken was cooked to a pleasant doneness, but still required a knife to cut. Cutting down into the chicken pushed the chicken down into a fairly thick layer of beans and greens which... well... made the dining process more difficult than I would usually prefer. And the high sided bowl added to the complexity of this operation. All of that should be easy to correct (although it seems pretty obvious that no one who has been involved in crafting the presentation of this dish has tried to eat it like this). I cannot really say what the dish would taste like after quartering to halving the salt. The way it was presented I couldn't actually tell what the source of the saltiness was. I think it was the whole thing. Also we had dessert and the Apple Crostada was nice but not special.
Nice ambiance, more of a bar/place to get a drink but nice.
Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. It had a good vibe and the pasta was out of this world. We had bucatini and the fettuccini ragu. Can’t say enough about the food. Waiter was a little pushy in terms of riding our table for orders. A little too attentive for what it’s worth but everything else he did made up for that.
Excessive use of olive oil in squash appetizer. Also doused focaccia bread in olive oil to the point it was not edible. Wahoo fish filet was served rare - fine for tuna, not good for wahoo.
Very very dim lighting. Staff very friendly but menu just ok.
Incredible room. A little slow going at first but picked up and had a great meal. Rooftop bar was a great ending!
Excellent Sunday brunch before saints game.
A bit pricey, but food is decent.
Came for a bachelorette brunch, the decor ambience and vibes of the restaurant were absolutely perfect everybody loved it. Our server assistant was delightful, friendly, helpful, etc. our actual server is much slower didn’t provide as warm of service. Everyone loved their food and drinks it was delicious and so fun. I’m not a big eater so it wasn’t an issue for me, but the salmon potato pancake was a really small dish to be considered an entrée
Overall, was wonderful. Each of or pasta dishes were delicious and perfect .I wish we could have sat a little longer, but we felt that we were a little rushed to order. There were two of us
Gathered with family before a concert. Food was delicious. Service was great. Made sure we had our meal in enough time to make it to the concert.
Great venue and authentic Italian food
The food was amazing. Very clean and loved the atmosphere
Food was good but few menu options and a bit pricey. Appetizers and dessert portions too small for the price.
Ambiance and setting is what I think draws the crowds.
Thank you OlgaM for your feedback on your visit. Hope to see you again! Cheers!
Our experience was magnificent with one exception . Our only complaint is that around 7:30, they turned up the music so loud that everyone in the restaurant began speaking louder. We prefer a quieter atmosphere and had not encountered this issue on previous visits.
Thank you for providing feedback on your experience with us. We are glad you enjoyed your visit with us, and will be sure to monitor the noise levels between music and voice.
Wonderful fresh pasta dishes
