Initially we had two different tables and we wanted to all sit together. There was enough room to just add another table to one of our groups and the other three of us could have sat there. It was only after we asked the waitress that they made the move to accommodate us. The hostess made no effort. So that improved my overall view of the restaurant. The food was amazing as were the drinks.

It took a long time for my party of 4 to get our food. Everybody’s food came out at different times and the food wasn’t very tasty. The salmon I had felt undercooked. But the hostess was very nice and we really loved how beautiful the restaurant is inside. This just wasn’t a place for us food wise.

The service was beyond great but unfortunately all 3 apps we ordered were not. We ended up politely cancelling our entrees and left.

Went on a Friday evening. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. A friend and I shared several dishes, including the meat and cheese board, fried brussel sprout salad, bucatini and rigatoni with maw maw's gravy, and each one was amazing. We also got a pistachio cake dessert that was out of this world. Our reservation was early evening so we did not have to wait for our table, but it's nice that the restaurant is located with the Ace Hotel and there are several lounge rooms with a bar available if you did need to wait.

The pasta was amazing! The hostess was efficient and our server was kind and sincere. The manager was present and friendly. I highly recommend Josephine Estelle to anyone who is in search of Italien food in NOLA.

We were in town for a birthday celebration. The customer service was outstanding. The manager Sean went above and beyond to accommodate our every wish. The chef accommodated every dietary restriction with ease. Every dish was made with love. The highlight of our meal was the brussels sprout salad that will make you come back for seconds.the boudin balls were tasty but the pancakes with the amaretto almond syrup was the showstopper. Ethan was our server extraordinaire who focused on our needs like we were the only table in the restaurant. So to say the least, this restaurant is first class. Make this a stop while you are in NOLA.

I've eaten here over a dozen times and never had a bad experience! It's a favorite go-to when I have friends in town because you know that they will have delicious food and an attentive staff. My favorite is the meatballs with maw-maw gravy!

The food really wasn’t worth the price . I live in New Orleans and go to many of the good restaurants of The city and the food was not really comparable to other restaurants. Go elsewhere that for the same money there many other restaurants in town with better quality food.

We took outdoor seating, and wished we hadn’t. The food and service were excellent.

Food was great as always but we did not enjoy sitting outside...in they alley...where it smelled like garbage.

It was a little loud, due to the volume of the music causing others to speak more loudly. Otherwise, enjoyable.

Our server was great and kept checking in on us. Food was excellent! They maintained safe distancing between the tables. The ambience was perfect for a dinner date with friends.

Excellent food and Elliot was great

Service was terrible. We arrived at 6:30 and didn’t get our food until around 8pm. It was not crowded when we arrived and the capacity is only 50% due to Covid. Our waiter never came by after we ordered to ask if we wanted anything or to update us on when our food would arrive. The music was too loud ( typical in many restaurants these days).

Restaurant attached to a great hotel in NOLA. The brunch food was very good. Don’t miss going up on the roof of the hotel for a drink.
