   Other than our food coming out so fast that we felt rushed, everything was good. Our server Meagan was very knowledgeable and helpful, and she had great recommendations overall. Seemed a little pricey for quality of food, however.

   Admittedly a slow Monday late lunch, but server/bartender was too busy to take care of us. Thus, service was slow: drinks…then food…then, is all ok…then the check. We weren’t in a hurry, but she was really in no hurry. Not worth the Open Table great reviews.

   Food was good. But pricey with lots of extra fees, maybe because at a hotel. We were there for a graduation dinner still in the black robe, and server had no energy at all. Due to hefty price point & underwhelming server, may not return.

    We came 30 min before reservation, and hostess told us to wait for our time. It's okay, normally but then we realize that it was half of restaurant empty!!! Before and after us, like really? Why we have waited?We waited at the bar during those time we had a rain with drops from bar tender, when he prepared cocktails. Food was okay, nothing special but good, and waiter was very friendly.

    It was fine. We were staying at Ace so it was convenient, but the problem is they are charging medium high prices ($42 simple steak) but providing service more like a burger joint. Waitress had no level of care or concern for her job or our happiness. Won’t be back unless I’m starving, staying at the Ace and not able to go anywhere else. I would never again plan a meal there.

    Cool vibes and great decor. Food was delivered nice and hot. I had the pasta with crab, butter and basil. Tasty but it had very little crab. The person with me ordered the fish special. He really liked it. We both got the feeling the waiter was trying to get is out, though. Service was so-so.

    Server did not know basics, like what the ice cream and sorbet flavors were. Server had to go to the bar several times to ask basic questions regarding drink orders. B waiter carried to many plates and asked our table to help him grab them and put them on table.

    Our food took over an hour to arrive, the server acknowledge the wait and comp'ed us a round of drinks. But seemed he to be embarrassed about the wait and avoided us the whole time, could barely even order a second round of drinks while we waited because he didnt come back to check on us. The restaurant was less than 1/3 full at the time. The food was good, but nothing stood out as amazing.

    The service was one of the worst we’ve experienced in a long time. We made reservations and a gentleman asked if we had a reservation which we said yes. He said to sit at the bar while he gets a table. We never saw him again! As people kept getting seated I finally walked back up and ask if he was getting our table which she replied, WHO! I knew this was going all downhill from there. The food is terrible, cold and the red fish tasted fishy. I would have liked maybe a salad option or even some bread, but nothing. Never seen the waitress again til we were halfway finished. When she did finally show up, we only got one word responses. A real charmer to work the tables.

    Although I have had a wonderful dinner here before, this time the restaurant was empty at lunch time. I discovered that perhaps this restaurant is just not good at doing lunch. While the service was good, the salad with tuna did not meet my expectations.

    Overall all the service was terrible. We had a reservation and showed up right on time, but jt took almost 20 mins before the server stopped at our table and we ordered drinks and food at the same time. It was another 30 mins before we got our drinks, and by the time we got our food it had been over an hour since we were seated.

    Made a reservation to eat here on a Sunday morning. It was not crowded yet, so we got really amazing service! I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was amazing. My wife ordered the italian benedict and she said the poached eggs were some of the best she has ever had! We had a lovely breakfast here, and will be sure to eat here again.

    Made a reservation at 8:45. Showed up at 8:45. Was told my reservation was not ready yet and to go get a drink at the hotel bar. I did but there was no were to sit with my date so I ended up standing in a corner to sip overpriced hotel drinks in a crowded room. I was not able to sit until 9:20. The waitress literally forgot the order and came back 15 minutes later so tell us she completely forgot the drinks and dinner order and what was it again?? Then she stuck her thumb in my dates water on accident. The pasta was no different than what I could

    We were here 5 years ago and we always considered it one of our favorite from our trip. We have talked about the restaurant so many times over the years that we were so pleased to have a chance to return. Still the same inside and food was still just as good as before.     food and service excellent we had the bucatini and the rigatoni Paul was a wonderful server. The noise level was due to high ceilings, It was a beautiful room but voices were very magnified.

    Our server started out great, but I guess she got very busy. She forgot one of our menu items, so it was not served with the rest of our party's food. We ordered a second bottle of wine, which she brought as our dessert arrived. It was very busy, so I guess we got lost in the shuffle. She was very courteous. The food was excellent.     Worst service. So slow. We were there early and maybe three other tables only so not busy at all. Took forever to get waited on initially once sat. Longer to get our drinks. Eventually she took our food order. She put down dessert menu but she never came back for dessert order so we asked a busboy to get the check so we could leave. Ridiculous.

    Service was simply ghastly! Our server dropped the menu on the table and disappeared without providing any information about the food or wine. My first wine selection from the wine list wasn't available, I ordered a different one, but she showed up with a different wine altogether. She seemed annoyed by our presence and exceedingly rude, to the point we were concerned every time she would approach the table that an argument would ensue! The food quality was very poor, the pasta overcooked, meatballs hard like cement. This used to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Nola before COVID, but everything has changed. Will NEVER go back!

    I visited Josephine Estelle for a business meeting and it was the absolute perfect place It was not packed at all which was perfect for conversation volume. The food was good but not too heavy and the little Lunch meal deal was super convenient. our waitress was attentive and polite, I would definitely visit again!

    This was by far one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We waited at our table at least 15 minutes before being offered a drink. We then placed our entire order which included a bottle of wine (our third choice since the first two choices were out of stock). Our appetizer came out, within a few minutes our entree was placed on the table next to the appetizer and still no wine. We asked someone to find out about the wine and we were told that the server was on the sixth floor looking for the wine. We told them forget it, just a glass from the bar would be fine. That server came back with one glass rather than two - but is was the wrong wine anyway. At this point our original server still has not come back. We were not asked about the food, if we needed anything, etc. - which the food was way too salty. My husband cancelled his salad but it came out anyway. We were not offered dessert even though I said we wanted dessert for his birthday. The original server returned and took the wine off the bill. When we went outside to get our car the valet did not show up for at least 20 minutes. Nobody else was waiting for their car. The person at the counter told us that he was parking / retrieving other cars. It was only after I requested a manager that the valet came out of the building (not from parking cars). The manager was kind and apologetic and asked what he could do to have us return. To which we replied that we had a great experience on the rooftop 2 nights earlier that’s why we came back but there was nothing he could do after that experience to get us to come back.
