Great food and atmosphere. We had excellent service and felt very safe dining here with the hygiene measures in place at the restaurant.

Wonderful meal tonight. Tagliatelli pasta with rabbit and the osso bucco pork special. Both were perfectly prepared. A nice Cabernet was recommended and was a good fit. Very nice service and ambiance. We've been here several times and will definitely be back!

Our server Steven (I think that was his name) couldn’t have been nicer and made our night! The food was amazing and the champagne was delicious. The prices were reasonable and we even were given an amuse bouche of caviar! Highly recommend.

Most dishes good to very good, with a couple of misses scattered in. Very good service, great drinks.

Wonderful restaurant - even thought it was New Year's Eve, and one person in our party was 30 minutes late, they worked hard to hold our table for us. At no time did we feel rushed - the service was spectacular and the food was great. We will return!

A waitress with an absolutely terrible attitude nearly spoiled our Christmas lunch. I also thought the menu selection for Christmas Day was only so so. The manager, Mokie, salvaged our experience. She couldn’t have been kinder and more professional. Still. Not sure I’d return.

This was my second visit, I had been eager to return since the first impression was stellar. I remembered the food and atmosphere. This time the service and food were remarkable. The same calm atmosphere with good music prevailed. The vinyl records made a perfect backdrop for dining and conversation. We had a salad, pasta en brodo and the redfish. Highly suggest all three, topped off with pb chocolate bundino.

Vegan pasta with vegetable marina sauce. Had to special order this dish. Turned out great minus the kale.

We went for girls annual Christmas holiday lunch. We had never been and decided why not. COVID has certainly made things different but, this spot has it down. Socially placed. Servers were excellent and masked , knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
The holiday cocktails were tasty, and our lunch, of combo meatballs, pasta, and pizza was divine. We ate every bite and there was no food to take home.
The setting is beautiful. The bar is a nice spot on its own.
We look forward to going back.

Terrible!!! The waiter was VERY RUDE. Before he even told us hello he came asking for my ID & i was not even getting drinks. Was rude about the menu. The worst waiter.

Our prefixed Thanksgiving meal at our reservation time of 7:00pm didn’t begin until 7:40pm. Our first course that arrived at 7:40pm was only our salads. I politely told the waiter prior to our food arriving that it had almost been 40 minutes and we were curious about the delay. Following this question he seemed to stay far away from us during the remainder of the evening. Our remaining courses were delivered by various staff before the prior meals were cleared away. For the price we paid it was not up to par. A sad ending to our Thanksgiving holiday.

My wife and I had thanksgiving dinner here and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. Not only would I recommend Josephine Estelle. I’ve already suggested to several people that frequently visit New Orleans.

Our server took a little long to get out order and greet us, but overall did a great job!

Menu was a little hard to understand and our server was very short with us about what the items were. I loved my pasta, my date however did not unfortunately partly due to miscommunication with the server. I would give this place another chance solely because their ambiance was perfect! Be sure to ask questions if you come here!!!

Great ambiance at Josephine Estelle but the food and the service was very subpar. The meatballs tasted horrible and rubbery. My cousin ordered a Moscow Mule and they put ginger ale in it instead of ginger beer and when my cousin told the server it didn’t taste right he fought her on it. The waiter talked back to us when we asked if it was ok to use 3 different cards to split the check evenly and he replied “can’t you all just venmo each other?” Not sure I’ll be going back here

We went there for Saturday night dinner. The atmosphere and food was great! We will definitely visit there again!

We had a wonderful time celebrating a 30th birthday! Josephine Estelle’s staff were all super nice and great! They let me decorate the table with birthday decorations which I really appreciate to make the birthday girl feel even more special! So happy with everything including food and drinks :) thank you again guys!

Always an enjoyable experience at Josephine Estelle!

We were looking for dinner during the eye of hurricane zeta and Josephine Estelle was closed but doing complimentary dinner for people. This was an incredible thing they didn’t have to do but we were so glad they did. It was a fantastic meal and allowed us to retreat back to our hotel and stay out of the elements. We will definitely go back as this place looked amazing and if the food we had was that good, I can’t wait to try what else they have.

I had a reservation but arrived early and was still able to be seated. My server was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I ordered the BBQ shrimp and grits. I'll be stopping in again on my next trip to New Orleans.

This place is beautiful! The owners were both very active at the restaurant serving as host and another checking on tables. This is a perfect girl night out restaurant. The energy of this place is something else!
