Unfortunately service and the food were terrible. I had high hopes because I've had good experiences with the location in Hyde Park so I just went in expecting similar service. I dont want to spend time bashing the entire experience but I can definitely say I would never return to this location.

This place used to be really good, but the last couple of times I’ve been the food is actually trash now. Everything is always salty and it’s just not the same versus how it was when it first opened up. I think it’s a wrap on my visits here

I came to this location because it’s listed as a BYOB space online. We were seated for almost 20 minutes before any attempt was made to take our order. Once we were given water, it was brought out in a glass which was fine. The water was sat on our table before we could take a sip a completely different server snatches the cups of water away from the table and brings back bottled water with no explanation or even acknowledging what or why he was doing it. Unfortunately, we then were told no outside liquor is allowed because they have a bar. I then pointed out that this place is listed online as a BYOB space. Ordered shrimp tacos, they came out were placed on the table and yet again only a moment or two went by before that plate of tacos was taken away by server with no explanation or even communication of why this was happening. Although we enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance, the playlist was perfect, the service at this place was absolutely terrible. If they are no longer BYOB they need to update the website.

Dined with family for Mother’s Day… customer service was exceptional… food arrived quickly, libations were tasty & made exactly how we asked… truly enjoy my experience… definitely an A++++… looking forward to my next visit…

This is my 3rd time coming & it was horrible. I would suggest coming in the morning. We went around 4/5pm on Sunday. When I tell you everything was not good. The chicken was nor cooked all the way, the yams tasted like canned yams & not done, my cornbread came out late after eating food & it was not cooked all the way or too hot. The cornbread was doughy & broken for $5. Completely disappointing for $140 for 3 people.
