   Joni’s restaurant is the perfect spot in Yorkville and Toronto. Always consistent in 5 star food, service and environment. A place where all my needs exceed my many previous visits. You will love it here. DON

   We had the chef's tasting menu and it did not disappoint! A farm-to-table themed 5-course (although there 2-3 more palate cleansers in there as well) covering much seafood as well as short ribs. The tasting menu does change depending on what local farmers have in season. The service was outstanding, the restaurant had amazing ambience but there was not a single note of pretentiousness which gives comfort to really enjoy the dining experience and ask as many questions as you want. The tasting menu was a lot of food as well, so for $95 it was really good value.

   Wonderful all round - great service with all the important touches. Gorgeous room. Perfect for conversations. I was entertaining my staff, celebrating a birthday. We all loved it and will be back for sure.

   Joni exceeds expectations every time we visit. We normally have dinner once or twice a year and the experience evolves for the better every time. This last time they had live music (piano) during our meal. The tasting menu is a must.

   We love this place! The tasting menu that changes on a regular basis, amazing food, beautiful presentation, a lovely setting and stellar service. What else can you ask for? Highly recommended!

   Bit of a wait upon checking in, and had to stand around for a while before the hostess or anyone else greeted us. Even a quick heads up to let us know they’ll be with us in a second would’ve been nice. Aside from the hostess, rest of the service was great and ambience was lovely.

   The food and ambiance were outstanding. While the service was good, the main course did take a bit longer to arrive — though it didn’t detract from our overall dining experience. We enjoyed a great conversation, accompanied by live music and the cozy warmth of a fireplace. Despite the restaurant being quite full, we could chat comfortably without raising our voices. The cocktails were also exceptional. Will be back
