   Outstanding all around - we had the tasting menu + wine pairing. Everything was perfect.

   Beautiful space. Decorated like cherry blossoms, quite lovely. Fireplace against back wall was nice. My friend and I both ordered the Poached Pear salad and added protein (chicken for her, shrimp for me). The shrimp were cooked perfectly and very fresh. I would have wanted a larger sized salad, but it was under Starters, so it was clearly not an entree size, so it met expectation. The pecans were crunchy and sweet and a nice touch to the salad. I would return and either get that again or try something new.

   The service was outstanding! Every single person we encountered was kind, attentive, and friendly. The food was excellent in most cases, however, the macaroons were very over-cooked and the salad offered was thin having only a few items to add to it. This was disappointing as we were both looking forward to a robust salad especially at the price. We did have a wonderful time given the staff and with a few tweaks it could easily be 5 stars.

   Amazing food with great live music. A bit dark in the space (dim lighting). We’ll be back!

   An absolutely unforgettable experience. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It was a rollercoaster of deliciousness.

   My daughter and I went Joni to celebrate her completion of her Masters. We had the Chef’s menu. My daughter had the wine pairing. I did not. The room is beautiful. Ambient lighting. High ceilings to absorb sound, although the music was perfect. The food was outstanding! Each course so thoughtfully presented and timed. There was a theme that ran through each course so subtly. Delicious. The service was impeccable. I have been to many experiences, this was number one in my mind. Thank you everyone.

   A beyond fantastic afternoon tea experience. I have been to many and this was by far the best one I have ever been to. The service was incredible as well. Thanks so much!

   Again another amazing meal here at Joni’s . I did not have the chicken pot pie since 2024. It was amazing. The crust was outstanding and the chicken was delicious. I tried the chicken on its own and it was generous and perfect. I paired it with my favorite italian red wine. It looks small but extremely filling. Joni’s visits exceed the previous ones in every way. Joni’s is my number one choice for fine dining in Toronto. DON

    The food and service was excellent. The only issue was, a rude guest, loudly was complaining about the volume that the live singer was at. This was certainly a distribution in our experience. Your hostess handled it well, but this guy was a real jerk. Btw, the singer and musician were great
