   We always love having lunch at JOLO, and today’s experience was incredible as always. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is so lovely, especially if weather allows for outdoor seating. Our server today was Maja. She’s always so kind and attentive, is knowledgeable about the items on the menu, and offers advice on food and wine pairings. We stuck to our old reliable combination of pomme frites and Twinkles to start with (because you can’t go wrong with bubbles or fries!) but branched out with our entrees and were very pleased. I’m already looking forward to out next “date day” outing at JOLO.

   We always enjoy visiting JOLO for special occasions or just to have a glass of wine(or bottle) The atmosphere is top notch and we’re always treated like family by the staff! Love our JOLO fam! The best part is the ability after lunch to move outdoors to enjoy wine with a view!

    Jolo Winery is one of my favorites. It’s an easy Sunday afternoon drive from Raleigh. The food seems to be reaching new heights as well. We usually get the crab dip which is always good but it blew us away today. Tons of flavor portions seemed a better value and enough baked bread to slather the crab dip. Also has Thai chili shrimp. Perfectly cooked hot and plentiful!! Also Cat was our waitress. We’ve had her several times and she is always so pleasant personable and doesn’t rush us. Attentive efficient funny and on top of her game every time!!!

    Good experience. Slow service. They need to have other wine options. Cab sauv was advertised on website but not available. Ambience is fabulous. Salad was excellent. Haddock was better than average. Key lime pie was a star.

    Absolutely love JOLO and ALL their wines. The food is delicious. I've never had an appetizer, entrée or salad I didn't love. I highly recommend JOLO. The view of Pilot Mtn is gorgeous!

    Very relaxing atmosphere for both inside & out dining. Our entrees were excellent. Good menu selection from appetizers to deserts. The Alfredo pasta was perhaps the best I've tasted in years. Definitely would recommend and will return.

    Everything about our Mother’s Day at JOLO was amazing. We started off our afternoon with a wine tasting and Heather was amazing. She personalized our tastings and was very friendly and fun. Ethan was our waiter and he gave great recommendations and was knowledgeable about the menu when we had questions. The kitchen was behind so they gave us a complementary glass of wine at our wine tasting but once we sat at our table the wait didn’t seem bad at all. We got two appetizers, three entrees , wine and a Bellini and we all loved everything. The crab dip was sizzling hot and perfect with the bread. The meatballs were flavorful and the marinara was delicious. The risotto and salmon were great and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The pork ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Cuban bistec was delicious and had great flavors and the ingredients all paired well together.

    I have been to Jolo 4-5 times and always have had an excellent meal. I know this was Mother's Day and our part was ok with the delayed wait times BUT our lamb dish and my wife's steak was WAY over done. Also, when inquiring about dessert we were told the wait time was 20+ minutes. At the point we all felt they just wanted to turn over the table. Bonus points to our waitress MJ, when she apologized for the main course wait time, I ask her for a complimentary bottle of rose, which she procured!

    We were with friends having a great time and because of mothers day, the winery was full of reservations and in the end it seems like JOLO would like us to go away. Also a server came to ask if we mind to change table to continue to drink somewhere other them where we were. This was very rude and we decide to go away and not have desserts anymore as we were not welcome anymore. So sad!

    We enjoyed our JOLO visit on Mother's Day with our party of four. The staff is so pleasant and accommodating. The owners are always there to be sure you are enjoying your meal.     This winery and restaurant are outstanding. The staff is especially warm and welcoming. Great menu and excellent food. We ate outside and enjoyed the lovely view of the lake and mountains. The wine is delicious. I highly recommend JOLO.
