   We have been to the Jolly Roger many times and on this occasion I ordered an extremely tasty macaroni cheese. To go along with this, I ordered a side salad. What came was a plate consisting of half a little gem lettuce which was then cut into half again. So I had two chunks of lettuce plus some Parmesan over the top and that was it . This was not a side salad! He could at least have chopped up the lettuce !! presumably the chef simply couldn’t be bothered. It quite puts me off visiting the pub again, which is a great shame. The service was good though.

   Easy to book table - and also alter booking Good food, happy friendly staff, and a very ‘at home’ relaxed atmosphere- was able to take my dog too and he was also very appreciative of the doggy treats offered to him 🐾

   We go here fairly often when visiting my dad in Gosport. Never had a bad meal. Service always friendly, food good quality and variety. Bonus for us is how dog friendly it is and the lovely views from the windows.

   Been plenty of times before. This time the Carrots were under cooked and our chosen sweet was not available

   The Jolly Roger is a nice pub overlooking the water. The food is not particularly memorable but reasonably acceptable. Rather overpriced for what you pay. The atmosphere is pleasant enough and the staff are nice. However..today was a fairly busy lunch trade and we arrived at 1pm and left at 4pm as the service was horrendously slow. We only saw two very young staff in all the time we were there and suspect the serious delays were in the kitchen. Everything took an age as there was obviously a need for more staff. This is a pity and they need to sort this out as I doubt we will be back. We had invited some friends to lunch and it was a bit embarrassing in the end

   the whole experience was lovely today even accommodating my husbands fussy needs for changing things on his plate

   Sorry, not great. Very average. We have been to some good pub restaurants recently and this wasn't one of them.

   Myself, my Husband and our Daughter went to the Jolly Roger for our Sunday Dinner. My Husband had a roast which looked lovely and he really enjoyed! I had a chicken burger and our Daughter had Homemade Pie. All the food was really nice and served hot and in good time. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a really nice meal and we would definitely return!

    Waited over an hour for food days hog sausages they are not they are supermarket chipolatas I just can't figure out which one wasn't told at the time of ordering it would be an hour wait chipolatas NOT sausages were over cooked and hard peas were under cooked and hard madh was nice if I hadn't waited an hour I would not have eaten any of it 2 meals were taken off the bill but do they should be over priced over and under cooked fo not recommend at all unless you want to be ripped off wish we had gone to the Bakers like we did the week before your paying for location only 🤮
