Good selection of food and every dish we ordered was well cooked, very tasty and reasonably priced, especially the Nepalese choices. But the service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was not full. We waited an hour and a half from finishing our starters to receiving the main course, as did several other tables, which is just unacceptable. They need to get more staff, otherwise people won't go back. a real shame as the quality of the food is very good.

Best of both worlds. Traditional pub fare but also an extensive Nepalese menu. Generous portions and very tasty. Chef was quite happy to amend dishes to suit dietary requirements. Very attentive service.

Had lunch which arrived in good time. Popadoms were crispy but did not feel fresh. My tandoori roti was not tandoori - just normal Tava roti but charged for tandoori roti. My lamb dish smelt lovely but taste was only ok. Portion of lamb meat not great - a lot more gravy than actual chunks of meat. Not really that impressed with the flavour. Maybe the English selection might be better? Alternatively maybe another Asian dish - could have just been a one off.

Decided to book a table for four adults for Sunday lunch, having been here a couple of years ago, interested to see how the pub was doing. The pub is split between a bar area and a more formal seating area. There was a steady stream of people coming in to eat and use the bar area. Maybe its the building and the bar/seating layout but it doesn't have a pub vibe. Saying that the food (we all had the roasts - good portions) was excellent and the puddings were very good. Good value just let down slightly by the atmosphere.

menu is very limited, flavours are not great on food that we had but good value for money and if you just want somebody else to cook a meal for you then worth popping in. No real ambience but has real potential.
