   No Coffee available, 2nd time in a week, machine has been “broken” No tea, missing dishes from the limited menu, excellent service from Michelle from Spain.

   Monica was our server and she was wonderful. The host was not particularly friendly but then again he was not particularly rude – we remember in the past feeling so welcomed being there. Took quite a while for some of the food to come out compared to how it had been previously. But – the food is amazing and definitely worth a visit to enjoy their delicious entrées.

   i was drawn to it by the promise of cajun blackened red snapper. i had to send it back to get one side more blackened and it had hardly any cayenne pepper, which is what cajun blackened red snapper is supposed to have.

   Overall a good experience, food and service was good for its value! However the noise level made it impossible to carry over a conversation, wish they could improve their acoustics!

   Eating outside in the garden was delightful. Limited but satisfying Happy Hour and regular dinner menu. Good food.

   If I could give this place a 0 overall, I would. We came for an 8:30 reservation to no host or hostess at the stand. We waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us to be seated and then were told we could order water but drinks would be a while. We ordered soft drinks only and realized we needed to also put all of our food in at that same time or we may never get another opportunity. After 45 minutes (and asking several times on the status of our sodas), the waitress brought a tray with half of the drinks stating they didn’t have any more and maybe she could find some warm ones for us somewhere. We then proceeded to ask at every opportunity if our appetizers were anywhere near ready. No explanation or apology for the excessive delay was ever given. After exercising more patience than any of us thought we were capable of, we kindly let the waitress know we would like to pay for the drinks and leave. When we walked out past the kitchen window, we saw none of our appetizers were even finished being made (let alone all the entrees we ordered). Wasted hours of our life at this place with truly no idea how they could run such a poorly executed restaurant after being open for over a year. DO NOT GO HERE.

   Just fine. It could be SO much better. Just a ton of things missing from the experience, which is sad because it was a beautifully decorated space. My companion had the steak frites and he said it was very good. I had a salad and it took the server three tries to get the order right. Our cocktails took a LONG time, as did the food, and there was literally only one other party there at the time. So the service can stand to improve A LOT

    I’ve enjoyed coming to Joliet several times now. I like to sit outside by the pool on the garden terrace. Last evening we sat inside due to rain. Unfortunately, there were several dishes on the menu unavailable. One fellow diner had to settle for a second and then a third choice. Our server Maxwell handled the matter beautifully and his service was excellent. Overall, our food was fair to good. No plate reached our table with eye appeal. Yes, Jambalaya is brown. Though quite tasty, it looked like a pile of dog food on my dish. A sprig of parsley perhaps? Maybe a julienne of red and yellow peppers as garnish? I am still a fan with the hope that my next visit will excite all the senses.
