   I went there last week for a work colleagues reunion. It was seven of us and when we got there, the place looked nice inside and not too busy. There was maybe another big table like hours, who arrived before us and left soon after we arrived, and another two or three tables between 2-4 people. We were not served food until two and a half hours later, which was a big shame and is the main reason I can't rate higher my experience in this place. There was only one waiter and probably just one person in the kitchen, because it took very very long to serve us and it wasn't even that busy. I don't know if it's always like this, but it was disappointing. The food was good, but after 2'5 h I would have eaten anything. The waiter was nice, but he also realized about how deficient was the evening and how unhappy we were about it. I hope they improve the service in this place.

   Had a brilliant experience. Momos were very good and so was the Aloo Matar Keema. Bigyan was really helpful and attended to all our requests. Will visit again.

   I booked a table at the Jojo Lounge for the 18/12/22 2pm received booking confirmation and reminder the day before. When we arrived we found the restaurant to be shut. I contacted the number on their website to advise we had a booking however the venue was closed. I was informed I would receive a call back urgently but never did. We booked this as our works Xmas doo and had all travelled into Birmingham especially so were extremely disappointed that 1) it was closed and we were allowed to book and 2) never contacted back to apologise or advised what had gone wrong.

   A tasty introduction to Nepalese food. The menu had so much choice, it was hard to decide. We all enjoyed the meal. The restaurant was quieter than we expected for a Friday night but there were other diners in when we were there. Not too noisy for conversation so perfect for what we were looking for. Thank you

   We were so looking forward to returning to jojolopas especially back at its original location but what a shame. The service was very poor - non used wine glasses left on the table, lime pickle requested but didn't appear, when we chased we were told there is none. Poppadoms served in half so not sure what we were being charged for. The keema curry was the size of a side dish and contained potato. The special naan was hideous. And it was expensive for what is was now. Not sure if the owners have changed but it's not a patch on what it was.

    We inadvertently booked on the night of a 2 year celebration so there was some confusion. However the service and food were great. It was nice to have so many vegan options available and as someone who does not always get on with very spicy food it was great to have a menu which made it clear how spicy the options were. Our waitress was obviously inexperienced but she made up for that by being attentive and very pleasant.

    Ben looked after us throughout our evening , he was an absolute pleasure. The music was great. Shame it wasn’t as busy as it was intended to be, but we are in a pandemic so makes sense. The starters and the puddings we’re great ,the mains were good but could have been a bit better. The meatballs were slightly dry and pork belly too fatty , but apart from that totally lovely experience and would definitely visit again x

    No area to inform staff of arrival. I’d booked dinner on a Saturday evening and the bar area was packed; the staff were rushed off their feet. It took about 15 mins to get the attention of a staff member. Despite booking there wasn’t a table set up for us, so we had to wait until they were a bit quieter for a table to be made up. There was just one waiter in the restaurant taking orders and there were big parties to serve. Our table was booked for 7:45 and we were served our food at 9:30. A few customers got up to leave. I wish that I’d done the same. The layout of the bar/restaurant doesn’t really work, you have groups drinking round you, whilst you’re trying to enjoy dinner with friends. Food wasn’t great - definitely not worth waiting an hour and 45 mins for. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

    Out for family meal, far too noisey, music too loud, crowd noise terrible, couldn't talk between ourselves properly, food undercooked, asked for medium cooked steak, received it rare, waited over two hours for it..would never go again or recommend it.
