Never disappointed at Jojos even under the present circumstances.
Charming bistro setting on a quiet side street.
Completely Covid compliant. Napkin and silverware brought to table in sealed plastic packages.
Menu was on scanner or through website on my iPhone.
Seafood salad excellent,Chicken always delicious, my second choice since duck was not available
Waygu steak perfectly prepared
Homemade chocolate chip cookie melted in our mouths.
Extra special with the remembered anniversary candle
We have been dining at JoJo’s before and always had a good experience but we won’t be going back anytime soon.
I understand all the pandemic related adaptions the restaurants have to make but still...
Uncomfortable seating, bread in a paperback was dry, the Jean George warm seafood salad, a signature appetizer, was nothing like I ate before in his various restaurants, lack of savor and poorly served.
The waitress was borderline friendly!
To leave this on a positive note, yes, the duck was pretty good.
But definitely all together over rated!
Everything was wonderful: the service, the food, a sense of relaxed elegance and we appreciated their attention to safety measures in light of the pandemic.
The tuna tartar left me speechless.
Perfection! Delicious wine and food, served delightfully!
The service and food were very very good. The service of food in paper and plastic containers was unappealing and took away from the special experience of going out to dine.
Excellent entrees. Always something new and exceptional on the menu.
Simple with elegance and quality...set up tables on the sidewalk under twinkly lights!
The food got better as the evening went on. The pea and carrot soup was a bit too watery and didn't have enough flavor. The mains were good, sea bass and the wagyu, although portions were a bit small. Dessert of a warm gooey cookie was delicious. They did a great job of making it work in the times of covid.
Fabulous all the way around. I haven't been to here in about four years, albeit have been going for 25. Went this past Sat and the food, service, wine was impeccable. I had the Lobster with a mint, butter and something sauce that was completely out of this world. Shared the crab dumplings which were amazing. The new decor is very different. Hope to bring my family there in April for my fathers birthday or as soon as restaurants open again.
Good food and friendly service. Cost performance was very good. Will visit again.
Consistently great food, service, ambiance.
JoJo never disappoints . The perfect small UES restaurant with excellent food and pleasant surroundings.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant went out of their way to make me feel extra special for my birthday !!
Lovely place for a fabulous meal with friends
Everything was awesome
The most superb dining experience we have had in a long time. True professionals all around, from service at the door to the cozy and calm table, and clearly the kitchen. Every sauce, morsel, side, and bite was exquisitely prepared, delicious - you can just imagine the Chefs toiling over each dish. We were very impressed - hadn't been in years and love the "re-do". This is what a truely talented team can do. Kudos to them - expensive, but worth every penny. Culinary excellence. Thank you!
Perfect service and delicious food
Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. Great!!
Forgot how good JoJo was. Love the ambiance and service. Sea bass was excellent.
Nice place and ambience but the food was not so good for the price
We got out table upstairs, which we preferred. Very friendly service. Food was very good, maybe a little bit too much seasoning on some dishes.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! We were very happy with our choice. The staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious!!
The best restaurant on the upper east side!!! Food outstanding and service impeccable
A $39 piece of bass was about 2 ounces and burnt to a crisp-inedible
The food was too casual, such as pizza and pancake like egg sheet.
Dinner was delicious and service was charming. Will definitely return.
Will, our server Monday and Tuesday nights, is a most engaging practitioner of enlightened hospitality. He is an active listener whose understanding of every aspect of the menu forms the basis for a guest experience of the future. Our menu selections could not have been more delicious. The peekytoe crab dumplings are bright and warming —perfect for February. Roast chicken —a hallmark of the cuisine of France—exquisitely prepared and plated. And the pavlova (at every Jean-Georges restaurant where I’ve tasted it) is delightful. Thank you, team JoJo
Overall it was a pleasant dining experience. A snafu with the dessert order was rectified by the manager. I thought it a little pricy compared to other similar restaurants i dine at. The overall food quality was not as good as at the other JG restaurants I've eaten at.
They never disappoint. I live the renovation and new menu. Service is amazing.
Another of Jean George's jewels. Amazing brunch, classic dishes from his menu. Fresh, tasty, and great service. Highly recommend!
The salmon took 30 minutes the service was slow . But the food was good .
This is a lovely restaurant with a delicious menu that does not try too hard. Perfect for a romantic evening. Or why not take your mother when she comes to visit you in NY ?
Food and service excellent. Did not care for decor. Restaurant used to be cozy, charming, and had a feeling of
Intimacy. Modernization feels cold and looks stark. Unfortunate placement of low-hanging lamp over table made eye contact and conversation difficult. Has always been a must-visit when we visit New York. Probably won’t be in the future.
Basically what I expected from a Jean Georges restaurant. The service was great as usual, the food tasted delicious, the ambiance was nice. It was just lacking a bit of the « wow » factor. Overall, great experience. Will go back.
Excellent overall, clean, well served, flavorful meals.
This restaurant should have been perfect. The atmosphere was eclectic. The drinks were fabulous but the food was not served at the right temperature. Our waitress wasn't paying much attention to us for some reason. It's a shame that the service ruined our experience.
Excellent service. Somewhat limited menu. Very goof food.
This is my favorite restaurant in nyc. Cozy, charming, friendly, elegant, with excellent, excellent food. Our dining experiences there never ever disappoint!
