Jojo is always outstanding! The food and the service is outstanding! We are very sad that indoor dining is paused, but we will certainly be ordering takeout from Jojo. Thank you Chef Steven and team!
The place is very sharming; the food was excelent, such as the service. Love the Music selection ( not very UES), and the drinks & Wine selection was exactly what We was expeting por a Sunday brunch . I will come back.
Food is very good, but be ready for modest portions and full pricing; a very small lobster is $58.
Overall very good experience. Staff was very attentive and the food was delicious.
Awesome resto to celebrate a special occasion! It was delightful.
Great food, great service. Great spot. A+++
Wonderful all the way around.
Service was so poor
Wait person barely check on our table and we had to bring our check in the restaurant
Food was not good
Bread was cold and stale
The outdoor dining was horrible
No heat no cover and the chairs were wobbly
Amazing service and food quality for thanksgiving
Ecxelent food
Ecxelent service
Nice place,very clean and beutifull
Being seated near the bathrooms and having the stench of human waste wafting in the air throughout the meal put somewhat of a damper on the experience.
The service was poor, and having to wait 20 minutes for a piece of bread to be brought to the table, and then 40 minutes for our appetizers, and then after an hour having to ask a passing wait staff member to see if our main courses were ready - which apparently they were - as she came back with them immediately - added to our displeasure with the evening.
The music being played over the sound system was loud and intrusive, and detracted, rather than enhanced from the overall experience.
The food was quite good.
This was the second time I have been here, and it will most assuredly be the last
A true fine dining experience. Not stuffy, but relaxed and comfortable.
Excellent food, great service. Would definitely recommend.
The food was excellent! While, the service was slow and we asked for a table by the window on Opentable, but didn’t get one...
Food was delicious. Portion size could have been better. The location itself is very adorable and a great place for brunch. Staff was also extremely friendly!
I love Jojo. Delicious food and nice and light. Beautiful clean setting. I am not a fan of the new manager. She never smiled once or came to check on our table. She was dressed strangely, a blue summer dress with black stockings and sneakers- tattoos everywhere. Very strange and unprofessional for a Jean George establishment.
Food was terrible
Very good food and ambiance, but the staff at brunch was completely overwhelmed. It took more than an hour for JoJo’s wait staff to bring us two frittatas.
Other tables around us were served, ate, and left. No food for us.
My date and I asked several times for an update. When our food finally arrived we asked the manager for an explanation. Surprisingly, she lied to us: “your order went in 20 minutes ago.”
I can understand being understaffed these days. But this is no way to treat customers.
I was looking forward to eating at Jojo. I was very disappointed. The tables outside are really cheap and tiny for the standing and price of the restaurant. The food was far too salty and I'm a salt lover. But it was too much. Regardless of the salt the beef was good, rare cooked as I asked. We were not shown the wine we ordered, we were only brought our glasses full. The cookie was good.
Charming restaurant and great meal.
Great every time I’ve been here. I have celebrated every anniversary with my wife here.
Not at the level of the JoJo I remembered from years ago. Food good , but not exceptional. Ambiance cold and unattractive.
Exceptional food and service, really very special. It’s a beautiful restaurant!
I've always thought the food at Jojo was just OK. However, the meal we had on Saturday was terrific!
Wonderful meal. We were very impressed with the food. Covid 19 rules closely followed so would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking privacy, space and outstanding food.
We loved our evening out at Jojos. Great ambience and delicious food and cocktails. We will defintely return.
Drink served with chipped glass. Food was marginal. Salad had pure vinegar dressing, duck was ordered medium-served rare with soggy not crispy skin. Ate with same utensils for entire meal.
Outdoor seating was pleasant.
Estupendo servicio y comida
Terrible service, food came out cold, waiter’s didn’t care.
Overall average food. Not as good as other Jean George restaurants. Food was overcooked and over salted. Service was attentive.
Food and service was great, however in my opinion too expensive for what it is.
Dinner was delicious. The burrata appetizer was fresh and tasty and the duck was just so flavorful. The dessert (chocolate chip cookie) was a little overcooked but it didn’t take away from the overall outstanding dinner.
We split a cocktail, then ordered separate entrees , wine for each, coffee, and a shared dessert. The menu was adequate, but each dish was very well prepared, the mark of a real chef. Finally the bill was very acceptable for fine dining, especially in NYC.
Need a little more menu choice. Otherwise, one of the best places that is open.
was glad to get a last minute reservation on a Sunday. felt safe with the COVID regulations; and didn't feel forgotten even though all tables were very distant. I miss the energy pre-lockdown, but glad they're open and offering amazing meals.
My friend and I had fantasized about having a hamburger...she is undergoing chemo, and it was to be a treat. I had checked the menu on line and saw a burger, so we made reservations.
Needless to say, we were disappointed that the burger is not on the current menu. In addition, you were sold out of pancakes and French toast. We ordered and had delicious avocado toast and eggs benedict, so all was not lost.
Because of the crowd, service was pleasant, but a little slow. I suppose that is the new normal, especially for Sunday brunch.
We were both impressed with the safety and sanitary measures taken. Overall, the experience was good, not great.
We expected much more given the cost of dining at this restaurant. We sat outside and compared to other restaurants of this caliber, JoJos has done very little to make it a pleasant dining experience. There were no table cloths, candles, etc. Further the chairs were very uncomfortable and the service was good but very slow. We have eaten at many other restaurants outdoors and this was subpar, although the food as always is good.
We went to Jojo’s for a birthday dinner. Everything was perfect. The food was exquisite. The service was prompt, attentive, and with a smile. The covid-19 protocols were excellent, tables spaced out, individual wrapped utensils, thermal temperature scanner, filters. I highly recommend it.
JoJo was amazing!
So cute and food excellent
