The service and food were excellent! Bring your appetite as the portions are proper French style bistro ones! Every meal we ordered was delicious from the entrees to the desserts.

We visited Joie Cafe for an early breakfast mid week as the don't offer breakfast over the weekend. I was impressed to find the staff are all French and the food was delicious. Coffee also great. Service let them down a little. While they were very pleasant, they were slow, and there were only 2 tables of 2 at this stage. Coffee came at the same time as the food, it would have been an improved experience on a cold morning for the coffee to come quickly.. and for the heating to be on... even if lovely rugs are provided for knees :)

My friends and I could not fault anything. We will definitely go back to try different dishes! The soufflé was to die for, the coq au vin had so much flavour and the chocolate dessert was a perfect end to this wonderful meal.

Second visit to Joie Cafe and their dinner menu is a total knock out! The four cheese soufflé, that beef tartare are outstanding. Plus cannot say enough good things about the steak frites. Hardest decision is whether to get the red wine junior green peppercorn sauce…. Probably get both! Love it here ❤️

The boss and the waitress are very warm and friendly. Made dinning such a great experience especially we brought our overseas guests to dine . They were so impressed 😊

Incredibly noisy - so much so that we left as soon as possible! There is no attempt to baffle noise so sound reverberates and there was a very noisy group. Food and service were pretty good but not a relaxing experience!

I had a wonderful birthday celebration at Joie Cafe with my friends. Beautiful food, friendly and attentive service. We’ll definitely come back again soon.

Fantastic, (actual) French food. Cooked by a French chef. Great value, wine and beer to compliment your meal and the service is immaculate. Highly recommended the WA garlic saffron prawns, Duck l'Orange and Crème Brûlée. Visited 2 Saturdays in a row it was that good!
