Our dinners were excellent, the wait staff was friendly and gave us the time we needed to catch up with friends, and we received a booth as requested. Excellent value!

Johnny's is one of our favorite spots to go in Amherst with our son who is in college there. The wait staff is super friendly with excellent service and the food is very good!

We started with the truffle fries, and the tomato jam that comes with it is unreal. I had one of the specials, a house made pasta with shrimp, sausage, peppers and red wine cream sauce. I’ve never had anything like it! The entree was $20, and well worth it. We went before a UMass hockey game so it was crowded, but we used Open Table for a reservation and didn’t have to wait at all. I would definitely come here again!

This was our second visit to Johnnys and can’t wait to go back. The food and service are excellent. I ordered the braised beef pappardelle both visits as it is to die for. Our servers have all been fantastic. The ambiance is very nice as it’s not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. Johnny’s is definitely worth the visit!

Whenever in Amherst, we go to Johnny's at least 75% of the time. Draft beer selection is great and their menu is concise and everything is superb. I always have trouble ordering anything but the Rigatti and that's because it is that good. Salad with roasted garlic balsamic is also terrific as is the bread they bring.

Service is always prompt, courteous and delivered in a team format.

Food was very good, timely service until the end of our stay when the coffee was delayed until after dessert. The bigger issue was the Dining area was cold! Folks, including myself, had to put coats on to eat. The floor manager told us that bar area was way to warm so our areas heating had to be shut down to absorb the heat... that says much about the ownership. We won’t go back until it’s repaired so that ALL patrons can be cared for in appropriate heat or cooking. However, if the owners are cheap on customers comfort, in what others areas are they reducing cost that might affect the quality or authenticity of the food we order? Did I really have Asian Sea Bass or was it a white fish replacement?
Normally I don’t question, but I will for any restaurant owned by the Bean Restaurant Group, which are multiple in WMass.
Be forewarned, something is fishy! (Pun intended intended)

We enjoyed a lovely dinner experience from start to finish. Our server (and everyone else) was wonderful, even on a very busy Valentines Day evening, and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

We love Johnny's before and after college basketball games! There's no place better for drinks, appetizers, for lunch, and dinner. The food is always consistent, you can make a reservation a head of time for large and small parties and the staff is very friendly.

The food was overall good. Brussels sprouts were bland but veggie burger was very good. Pretzel was excellent. The problem was it was just too loud!

Food is excellent. It is noisy but not unusually so for area restaurants.

Johnny’s is one of the most consistent restaurants that I have ever dined. The food quality is top shelf. Dined with 6 others on Friday evening and all were extremely happy with their dinners. I highly recommend JT’s!!

We’ve eaten here several times and the food, service and drinks have always been great. We really love the mussels appetizer and the martinis!!

The staff was very nice and most of the guests really enjoyed the food! The one reason I am not likely go back to Johnny's is that there are very limited vegan options, and the one vegan option (burger) could be improved as there are no vegan buns, which of course takes away from the burger experience. There are so many vegans in the area, I wish Johnny's would make an effort to offer some great vegan main courses.

Second time there and will return. No complaints on any of our meals thus far, other than the soda tasted flat.

We waited nearly an hour for our food- salads and a burger. When the food finally came, the burger and the steak on the salad were both cold. We did bring it up to the manager, who did apologize and take 25% off the bill, which was nice of her to do. I have had great meals there, and due to this, and the managers action, I will go back, and give this restaurant another try.

Very loud, noisy crowd, could not hear ourselves talk and it was way too hot in there (it was an unseasonably hot day in their defense)

Great food and drink as usual. Staff and management are super friendly and accommodating. Our group of four became eight at the last minute and they seated us on time despite the restaurant being very busy. Bartender shared a wonderful drink recipe with us. Our go-to favorite in Amherst.

We were greeted at the door by a helpful host and as soon as all of us were present, we were seated. The wait person was excellent and did not rush us nor did she make us wait long for anything. She seemed to anticipate what we needed. The food was incredible. Each of the entrees we ordered was served to perfection, The appearance in the plating, the portion size and, most notably, the flavors were excellent, delicious and unforgettable. The only minor suggestion would be to serve the bread warm. Thank you for a most satisfying experience.
