We came on the only weekday Johnny’s serves lunch. We were one of just a few parties there and it was quiet. We were attentively served , never rushed. Our foursome had a beet salad, tuna sandwich, salmon, and black squid spaghetti. All were fabulous. We’ll be back!

Theprix fixe menu was OK. The food itself was OK, but not great. The fish was tough on the outside. The octopus tentacle was tough and chewy. The ley lime pie was fine. The fact of the matter is that after four days eating in NYC, we wen't veyr hungry. But for Restaurant Week, Johnny's did a good job. I just wish a little more care was taken with preparing the food.

We had an excellent meal for a very reasonable price. I had the best ever fish and chips, which was really an entire cod filet in a very flaky and light breading. Lovely location. A wonderful evening with very friendly staff.

Hostesses and all wait staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. When in Amherst will definitely be back again and suggest to all friends on their way to Amherst

The food, drinks and service were outstanding. I was expecting to have to wait for our table since our reservation was at 8:30 on a very busy graduation weekend but was happily surprised that our table was ready. We were not expecting a special menu. We planned for Johnny’s to be our casual dinner after graduation with Saturday night being our bigger night- so it was way more expensive than planned or expected.

Our Mother’s Day dining experience couldn’t have been better. The food was exquisite, the service was excellent, and the overall vibe was fun and lively. We had never dined at Johnny’s before (had gotten take-out there once during Covid), and it exceeded our expectations. Plenty of gluten-free options for us, including a delicious key-lime pie that’s just been added to the menu. Also the kale ceasar was to die for. My mom left feeling extremely satisfied and ready to come back!
