Johnny's Speakeasy is reservation only. We accept reservations for parties of 1-6 guests and we kindly ask that you do not make multiple reservations for your group. Out of consideration for other guests who have reservations and the small intimate nature of Johnny's, we kindly ask that all parties limit your dining experience to TWO (2) hours. Johnny's is a 21+ establishment.

For parties of 7 or more, please submit a group/ party inquiry on our website JOHNNYSROYALOAK.COM or by TEXTING 248. 794.1261. Parties of 7 or more do require a credit card hold.

We allow a 15 minute grace period for reservations. If you are running late, please TEXT the reservation line at 248.794.1261 and let us know.

We'll be sending out the secret code the afternoon of your reservation, we look forward to seeing you!

This was our first visit to Johnny's and definitely will not be our last! We both loved how tucked away and truly "speakeasy" this location felt. The decor and ambiance of Johnny's gave off a cool, chic dining lounge meets jazz bar vibe. The tables had black linens with red cloth napkins. The chairs were very comfortable as well. I was surprised the "dress code" is labeled as casual, I personally would have felt out of place had we not worn our date night attire. But this was our evening out! Lol our waiter was very attentive and presented himself professionally relaxed. The food and drinks were something we won't forget quickly. My Fiance ordered the Seafood Coursed Meal and I ordered the Wagyu Strudel, we each tried 2 different drinks and all of them were a home run! I highly recommend the Peaky blinders. I don't remember the name of his first drink but it came out on a smoking tray which was super cool and was so refreshing! We unfortunately didn't have enough room to try one of their desserts after our meals but we will be back to give that gelato flight a try! Our entrees came out beautifully plated and the portions were larger than expected! Johnny's Speakeasy definitely knows what their doing. Everything was delicious. An added surprise we weren't aware of was Johnny's had live music when we visited! A Jazz Duo that was quite enjoyable to watch and listen to while dining.

We had an overall good experience rxcept for one server who poured our water without letting us know he was reaching on and startled us a few times and at the end when our server clearly showed his dismay when we asked him to split our bill. He could have been overwhelmed because it did get busy by the time we left but his clear dismay did throw us off guard.

Didn’t have the food but could not leave review without clicking something. Great ambience, great for a first date, disappointed in the lack of beer selection but not so much that I won’t go back.

Everything was wonderful, great food, great service! We went during restaurant week so great value as well. We are a bit older and would've preferred the music to stay with the genre (big band, jazz etc) a little later. I understand there are younger folk coming in, but it is a speak easy. Overall, great time!

Beautiful venue and very dope vibes. I loved my server, Madagascar expression martini and the focaccia bread. Will be back soon.

We had dinner upstairs before hand and the menu was the exact same which was kind of disappointing as we were out for a night with friends for a birthday celebration.
