   The chef is super friendly and so knowledgeable. The cooking class( which even though you watch them cook only you still learn so much) was an awesome experience. Will deffiantky go again.

   Can’t say enough about this place! Loved the concept of the speakeasy, but the food, drinks and ambiance were fantastic. The live music was a great surprise. And upon leaving we were given a cookbook by the chef. And the customers we all friendly too, everyone was having a great time. It made for a wonderful birthday celebration, but we will be back again and again!

   Our reservation was set for 9:00, we arrived at 9 sharp and was told there is still a 30 minute wait. We returned at 9:40 to check on our table, we were told there was still a wait but elected to wait for a table. We waited in a line of about 4 couples waited to be seated. A group walked past us to their table and told us they waited 2 hours past their reservation time to be seated. We eventually left around 10 and decided to go home, never getting seated for a reservation that was for an hour before. Super disappointed that we made these reservations and never had an opportunity to even have a drink.

   Great place! We didn’t eat but had to rate it to continue. The food looked outstanding! Very small and intimate even though the tables were very close together. The whole mystery entrance and code words were cool. Going to the back door, my girl was like “WTH have you done?!?!” Would definitely go again.

   They really do make you tell them the password… Very interesting place. It’s very dark very much a speakeasy. The drinks were amazing. We just ordered appetizers as we were more interested in the drinks. It was difficult to get a table last minute so my date and I each reserved a table of one at the bar and that worked out for both of us to be able to sit together at the bar. Would definitely go back. Very cool vibe.

   We were recommended to check out Johnny's so we immediately made reservations. Location was amazing and to get the "secret code" to get in was great and very covert. The atmosphere and service were stellar. However, the food left much to be desired. We ordered the steak. It was very fatty and had no flavor what so ever. For the $59 charge, we could have fired up the grill and had a steak bursting with flavor!

    This is great for a new restaurant or first date. The experience was awesome! It’s down hill from there food was basic as hell but they put on a show. So that’s why I said it’s the experience that’s awesome. And I’m not into being so close together people you are almost elbow to elbow with the other tables.

    The experience was really great. I would say that the appetizers were by far better than the actual entrees that we tried(Lamb Chops, Chu Chee Salmon). But nonetheless the ambiance was great, service was quick, and the drinks were well worth it.

    We had a great time there. Love this place. Food and service were excellent. Colin the waiter was the best. He was very professional and friendly. The complimentary dessert at the end was awesome and a nice surprise. Will be back.

    Everything was excellent. The appetizer was tasty, the drinks were EXCELLENT, and both of our meals (I tasted both) were amazing. The chimichurri on that steak was the best I’ve ever tasted. No exaggeration. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

    Great ambiance and decent food. Nothing earth shattering, but it was good. What we didn’t like: • The cocktail list was pathetic for a ‘speakeasy’. Nothing interesting at all. • The tables are small and squished so close together I could have rubbed shoulders with the couple dinning next to me.

    Concept is ultra cool. Loved getting a secret password texted to me day of for entrance. The unmarked alley entrance was perfect. (see pic) We rang the bell and a gentleman opened the door. After stating the password, he guided us down the delivery door steps to the bar/dining area. Alrhough we were about 20 mins early for our reservation, we were escorted immediatly to our 2-top along the edge which was set and waiting for us (nice!) For me, an important element that was missing to set the ambiance was live jazz! That would have made this place killer. The place was energetic and loud otherwise - I think there was music over the speakers - not sure what type bc it was muffled by conversations. We'd already had dinner and came for drinks and dessert. So food review will be limited. I am GF and luckily the peanut chocolate truffles were 💯 percent GF. Because of the special occasion they brought my husband the cherry 🍒 creme brule on the house (nice touch! tysm!) We ordered a couple diff drinks with smoke shows. ++The Holland Fog ginger kambucha mule was amazing. Cool smokey presentation and DELICIOUS. * Note: The Johnny Appleseed cocktail in a flower pot has been renamed the Final Rose. They were out of roses that night (NP) so subbed with a diff flower. But the oreo "dirt" was just broken into pieces and didn't look at all like dirt. (More like mulch lol) An easy fix. If we return, next time we will sit at the bar since I love to see the drinks being made.

    We attended the Pirates of the Caribbean themed Dinner party, it was a great time and we won 1st place for Best dressed Pirates. There was a good crowd and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The service was great and the food was very delicious.
