We created Johnny's to bring together the three most important things in life: family, food and fun! Conveniently located in Downtown Schenectady, directly across from Proctor's Theater and the Antique & Specialty Shops on Jay Street.
At Johnny's, we are committed to satisfying our customers with great food and excellent service. We offer a wide variety of delicious dishes for Lunch and Dinner. Whatever you're in the mood for, you can find it here! All of our pastas are freshly made on the premises. Our restaurant is warm and inviting, whether its a romantic dinner for two, a group of friends catching up or a business dinner, Johnny's adapts to everyone. Our spacious square bar has plenty of room for Happy Hours after work, or a night cap after a Proctors show.

Dinner out for our 21st anniversary. Great meals and service as always. Received a n/c dessert for the occasion. Definitely will be back.

Food was amazing as always. Complimentary birthday dessert was delicious. Waitress seemed a little unorganized compared to other waitresses we have had in the past.

Johnny's has become one of our favorite go-to restaurants. The food is always verry good, the service has continued to be very good on our visits, despite the "pandemic hangover" that many restaurants continue to have in attracting staff. The ambiance is pretty good, and the location is great. This time, we took friends that enjoyed it as well. We look forward to our next visit.

Very good food, served hot. The lasagna portion is ridiculously large, but it is very tasty. My pasta Giu Giu was dreamy, but the pasta at one edge of the dish was hardened. The night we went the staff was stretched. We arrived right after the Proctor's crowd had left to make the show. Kind of felt like arriving late to a party. Our waiter did his best, but did not check in on us very much, and we had to fetch our own cracked black pepper (tragedy, I know), and remind him about our request for more bread. Still, I love Johnny's and will certainly be back, but this was an off night.
