Despite being inside a hotel, this place had delicious food and the service was on point! My husband and I were waited on hand and foot, never had an empty glass, and the food was delicious. It is a tad pricey, but I feel that we got our money’s worth. I had a Tickled Pink cocktail, which was delicious. My husband loved their bourbon selection. Steven, our server, went above and beyond by being attentive, available and friendly, and the manager came and checked on us twice. I’ve heard they have a great happy hour, but I’ve never been. We went on a Saturday night, and the noise level wasn’t too loud, but the area is small, so it might get loud if it had been busier. I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the steak and mushroom risotto, and we both loved our dishes.

Beautiful, creative and delicious brunch experience for our Easter holiday! Oyster bar, prime rib, smoked salmon, dessert bar, veggies, pastas, fresh fruits, cheeses and more! Just WOW! Loved the Easter decor and photo booth. Attentive and friendly staff. 11/10 Great Job! Very well executed.

The Easter Brunch was a nice spread for the price $60 per person if I recall. Some of the food items did not taste as good as other places, but to each his own palette. They had so many food stations, when I thought we were done, I turned around to find more tables with food. I enjoyed most: fresh oysters on the half shell (I ate a dozen of them and did not get sick. All were on ice!) and the boiled shrimp were HUGE! I couldn’t get enough - that was my favorite section. We didn’t leave there hungry that is for sure. The service and waitstaff were SUPERB! I wish we could get this kind of service everywhere we dined. Several restaurants in WOL should take note…too many establishments with SUBPAR service and uncaring waitstaff. Our glasses were never left on empty and the dirty dishes were picked up with a swiftness so that you had a clean space to eat again…and again…and again. We were so full that we didn’t really enjoy the dessert table…at first glance, it was your standard desserts nothing to write about. We were happy to tip well on this occasion because they DESERVED it. Bravo!!!

Johnny’s did a beautiful job of the deco for Easter. The food was fabulous and delicious 😋 plenty of choices to choose from. I try to not miss their buffets…always enjoy it!!!

Our family of 6 made reservations for Easter brunch today. Check in was smooth and our table was ready. The area where brunch was seated and served was nicely decorated for the occasion. Staff were attentive and friendly. There were several choices of food including breakfast and lunch/ dinner options. Charcuterie display was plentiful and tasty. Several selections of breads, pastries and desserts as well. Between the six of us we tried a little bit of everything and it all had great flavor, was fresh and hot. Overall our experience was a positive. The overall price for brunch is likely considered competitive but I’m not sure we would go again for brunch because the cost to us just didn’t seem worth the value. Again no issues with our experience just not sure we’d pay those kind of prices again for what it was.

Wonderful restaurant - both the food and our service from Steven was outstanding. The crown jewel at Johnny’s was Ms. Avis. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Whatever Ms. Avis recommends, follow her lead. She knows food and Johnny’s does it very well.

Food and service was great but ambience and presence was not what I expected. It looks like a typical on-site restaurant in a 3 star hotel. Just 1 waiter serving the patrons and a hostess at the front. Both of them were very cordial and professional. Not your typical upscale steak house like how it was projected even though price was similar to one of them. Don't go with an expectation of a fine dining experience but just a casual restaurant with good but expensive food.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! The food is superb, the wait staff is personable and attentive. We loved our waiter Louis. And the “Queen of Nawlins” made this day so incredibly special for my parents.. their hearts were full. She sat with us and sang happy birthday to my dad. This was an unexpected injection of joy complimenting a great meal.
