Great as always
Best restaurant in Palm Springs!
Recommend by a friend. We loved it. Delicious dining with warm ambience. We can’t wait to go back.
Love this place. Love the food the ambiance the friendly staff.
Traditional Italian fare in a downtown atmosphere
Excellent nite. Miso was superb
Waited alittle longer than usual between entrees and not all entrees came at same time. There were only 5 of us
Frequent visitors to Palm Springs and decided to give it a try. Everyone and everything was excellent. A great mix of customers which tells you it’s a special place for all people. We will definitely dine there again when we return. Thank you!
We wouldn’t think of coming to Palm Springs and not go there for dinner.
Sufficiently sophisticated for Palm Springs, but pleasant and charming... a reasonably-priced menu and fit for young and old alike. Very friendly service. One of our favorites!
Everything was fantastic. Our waiter was fantastic. All our dishes were prepared properly and the Dean Martini was perfect. Great experience!
We enjoyed our dinner at Johnny Costa's. This was our last night in Palm Springs and we weren't sure where to eat. Glad we chose this place. Very old school Italian food which we love. I had the Chicken Cacciatore and my husband had the Lasagna. Some people complained about the service here but we thought it was just fine. Also thought the prices were good. When we come back to Palm Springs, we will definitely eat here again!
We have been going to Johnny Costa's for at least 20 years, always enjoy it.
Fabulous food and service.
Gracious and attentive service with a smile. Food was though fully prepared from the appetizer to the desert. B
this restaurant is consistently outstanding both the food and service. we always make it a point to stop whenever we are in palm springs.
My friends helped me celebrate my birthday at Johnny Costa’s and it did not disappoint. Food and service were spot on and they even surprised me with Spumoni ice cream with a candle on it to complete a perfect night...thank you all at Jonny Costa’s!
Best Italian restaurant in Palm Springs! Family owned with family recipes. I have had everything on the menu and never a bad meal. We love Sarah at the bar !
Exceptional meal. The service was the best we had in Palm Springs! Highly recommend.
Wonderful time with friends for their first Visit to Johnny Costas I have been there many times and encouraged them to come with and as always excellent food and service. Everyone enjoyed and Said they definitely would go again. A fun and tasty gathering...😎
Waiter Wes was perfectly attentive and welcoming. We had a wonderful meal!
We enjoy dining on the patio, but inside has a great "buzz," as well. The pasta dishes are our favorites, but there are many others to consider. Great place, with friendly service.
Always a great place to enjoy great food every time we go.
First time at the restaurant. We we greeted with a personal happy birthday for my fiend and they were suing her first name which was very kind. We were seated in the Frank Sinatra Room which had a great ambience. Our waiter and bus staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered the Burrata appetizer which melted in our mouths. We enjoyed that place the meals can with soup or salad. The entrees were well plated and prepared. The food was delicious and we could not help but clean our plates. The staff surprised my friend with a birthday song and ice cream with candle. Class act all the way. This will not be our last time at Johnny Costa’s and we will recommend to family and frienda
Great food. Always a wonderful experience.
Will definitely go back Again and again.
Always enjoy dining at Johnny Costa’s. It’s a very welcoming restaurant by all the staff and the food is always tasty.
Dependable place; honors requests. Always happy to return there. Thanks!
Johnny Costa's is always a great experience. I have never been disappointed there. Personally, I think it's the best Italian in the valley. Their regular menu is spectacular and they always have delicious specials. This is definitely a place for special occasions.
Great food, setting and service!!!!
Always one of our very favorite places to go when we’re in Palm Springs! Great food, great staff and terrific ambiance.
Even though it was a Wednesday, the place was close to full. Italian food, Italian music low enough for talking but loud enough for mood.
We had veal parmesan and angel hair pasta with shrimp and fresh tomatoes. Both entrees came with either soup or salad. We had the soup, minestrone, and it was delicious. Both entrees were outstanding!
No room for dessert but two VERY satisfied customers.
Service was great. It was as good as the food and the water glasses were never empty.
Great dinner and will return on next trip
Went there for my friends 40th birthday celebration. The service was wonderful and the ambiance was perfect.
We prefer patio seating, but inside is delightful, as well. The wait staff all seem to be connected with the family (and have been there a long time), which is a sign that everybody's happy - especially the guests! Moderately priced and quite good food.
The food was delicious. That said, the experience was not. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation. We were told that guests were just leaving the “table we have reserved for you.” We were asked to wait at the bar, which we did. After waiting 40 minutes and seeing others enter the restaurant and be seated, we asked the hostess how much longer the wait would be. She appeared a bit flustered and said the guests at “your table” had paid their bill but just were not leaving. She said it would be just a few minutes. When we had waited for an hour, we asked her again about table availability. She said that although we had reserved an outdoor table, there was still not a table available for us. Because the bar is next to the front door, we watched others who came in after us be seated. We agreed to sit indoors instead. We waited another 15 minutes after being seated before we were approached by wait staff. We had no particular complaint with the wait staff once he made contact with us. But there’s not much point in making a reservation and then waiting more than an hour as other parties of the same size walk in and are seated without a reservation. There were 4 in our party. I would have left but the dinner was a birthday gift to a guest. And I know that others were seated ahead of us because another group we chatted with at the bar remarked about how long we waited and said they had not made a reservation. I can’t recommend a restaurant with so little regard for customers no matter how good the food.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is worth the drive from Indio.
Food was amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff was great and I enjoyed the ambiance. Can’t wait to go back to Palm Springs to try something else on their menu.
Took friends from L.A. to dinner at Johnny Costa's this past Friday. Neither had been there before and they both loved it. Had a great dinner and great service. Also big parking lot behind the restaurant so easy to park. Highly recommended if you enjoy Italian food.
This amazing place will take you back to the old days of Palm Springs.
Worth a try...
We love it.
Great food and great service
