                                                    Very busy Saturday night. We had to wait 20 minutes for out table because it was raining and they had to accommodate the outdoor guests first. No offer of anything to compensate. Service was slow to start. Food was delicious. I recommend with some hesitation. Maybe a weeknight next time.

                                                    Our waiter and the food were excellent, the ambiance was simply okay, but just before we finished a table of eight were seated and the noise level from that party was so great that we were pleased that we didn't want dessert in any event.

                                                    As always, the John J. Jeffries meal did not disappoint. We had eight people in our party and our server and service was incredible. From the pork belly appetizer and salads to the desserts, we were all extremely pleased with our food. Thank you for making our birthday celebration so much fun!

                                                    Definitely stick with the local farms that they source from for meats and cheeses. Our dishes were very good. We had an excellent server -- others around us did complain that the service was not attentive.

                                                    There were some high points and low points. The service was very good. Some of the food was superb. Some was just so-so. The shrimp and grits were amazing.The swordfish was well prepared. The other foods were just ok. I think the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is a bit noisy. Could use some sound dampening.
