   Food was good as usual, ravioli steak was delicious as always, service was good, around frequently to bring more drinks, was a Thursday after work so a little bit quiet so perfect for catching up with friends

   We had a wonderful experience. Our server was wonderful. Our food was delicious. I had the spicy strawberry margarita. It was delicious. We ordered two appetizers to share. We were however, pushed to get more food and we understand businesses wanna make money as soon as we mention we are just gonna get the appetizers. Our waiter backed off immediately. At the restaurant overall it was a really good experience. The only beef I have is the amount of security. I had to go in to write this review. I don’t understand why you have to send a code to my cell phone number and to my email after I’ve already successfully put in the code for the first one. I personally think that a little excessive just to write a review of a restaurant. I’m not logging into my bank account.

   Took advantage of the daily Happy Hour Specials. Slight delay to be seated but the host at the door served us a beverage sample while we waited. Heather was our server and she was great in explaining the happy hour specials and took our orders. Food came quickly and it tasted great. Would visit Joeys South Common again.

   Another wonderful experience at Joey South Common. We don't live in Edmonton and make a point of coming here when we come to the city. The food is very and the service surpasses our expectations. Thank you!

   Things started off pretty good. We were seated quickly and our drink order was served quickly, but then it took around 15 minutes for anyone to come back and take our order. My friend ordered a 6 ounce steak, which looked to be maybe 3 to 4 ounces if that. When she expressed her opinion on the to the server, she said they weigh them all out so it’s 6 ounces and walked away. Not the way to handle that. I guarantee you at The Keg they would rectify that immediately. I ordered chicken Parm but what I don’t get is why they would put spaghetti over a nice crispy chicken cutlet making it totally soggy?? I saw a manager walk by and he did bring another piece of steak for my friend, but it took a long time and it was so thin and not great. The first steak was a lot thicker. My friend said the dessert was good, it was a chocolate lava cake . My friend wanted more water so she asked the server and I asked the manager, neither one brought it. We were there a good 45 minutes after we ate our meal. So needless to say the experience wasn’t great. I left a tip but my friend didn’t . I think my friend was right to do that and next time I will rethink leaving a tip at all.  The minute we paid the bill no one came back to ask if we needed anything else.

   Service was not very quick and things were forgotten. We were not checked on very often. The food took a long time to come out. One meal (a burger) came out completely cold. Other meals were good however.

    We were so spoiled at our table with our server Jonathan. He was very attentive, drinks were never empty, friendly and funny. We also had the pleasure of meeting Shelby and she treated us to her favorite appetizers, complimentary at that. It was such a nice and thoughtful surprise. She really made our experience so much better alongside Jonathan. We all enjoyed our dinner; everything was delicious. Just great experience! Thanks so much. Definitely will be back.
