   Incredible. Food was quite good. Three children and two adults. The children loved their burger, pasta, and steak frites. The adults also had steak and it was also impressive. Was better than some steakhouses we've been to. Medium Rare was cooked actually how we expect it to be. But the service was bar none, the best we have seen in the GTA. Sydney was very well mannered. And Will, the manager really went over and above. As a family who enjoys Disney, we likened it to Disney level of service. Extra attention to detail, and a little extra surprise over-and-above for good measure left us leaving both impressed and vowing to return.

   We had a lovely experience at Joey Markville, during our early dinner. Service was good. Food was good. Ambiance was good no complaints. I would definitely return, and recommended for any one looking for good casual dining in the Markham area.

   Best place ever! Always make my birthday so special, amazing staff and will keep coming back! Our server Mackenzie only added to my great night :) can’t wait for our next night at joeys!

   When Joey’s first opened in Toronto it was highly sought after. I remember waiting 2 hrs for a table and it was worth it - the then called Ahi Tuna Salad (it’s renamed now) and their baked apple pie was my favourite. Over the years, I’d be a returning customer at Joeys as they opened more locations. I never had complaints or issues, until today. Long story short, the quality and quantity of the food has gone down, but the prices have skyrocketed. $75 for a ribeye steak at a non-steak house restaurant, wow. The service was a bit bizarre - our server didn’t share with us at the beginning that they had $5 shot specials. Someone else came by mid meal to give us this info, which was strange. I would be more inclined to order a drink at the beginning of the meal, not halfway through. Second, I ordered their Joey Classic Steak and it was a disappointment. The server didn’t tell me that they did their mash potatoes like spring rolls. I thought it would be “regular mashed potatoes” so I asked for everything on the side and no bacon, not knowing it should be have been kept inside the fried rolls which would have made a huge difference. If the ingredients should have been kept inside, the server should have informed me that it’s not normal mashed potatoes. The steak size was also incredibly small. Also, we felt like we were being rushed out. Multiple times our servers and servers would come to try and clear our plates. Four times they tried to clear plates that still had food on them. What’s the rush? The last and biggest disappointment was the baked apple pie. I remember they used to tell you to order it 20 mins ahead of time because they bake them fresh. A big phyllo pastry like baked apple pie would come out on a big plate and it was just so delicious. Today, the size of the apple pie has definitely shrunk and so has the plate (to probably keep the illusion that it’s bigger) and the pastry is definitely not the same. Will be moving on from Joeys unfortunately.

    We came to Joey Markville for my dad’s birthday, the food was amazing as always and the service from both our waitress and manager on shift, Brie and Jamie were great. Always made sure we had everything we needed, another round of drinks when we were running low, and a birthday cake to finish. They gave us a comeback card to try an item for their new menu item and can’t wait to come try that at our next visit
