Morgan was our server - you’ll get great service! I had a filet and my husband had the ribs - both were scrumptious! We’ve been going to Joey D’s for many years and the food has never disappointed. Ribs are always meaty and fall off the bone. Filets are always cooked to perfection. In addition, salads, sides, drinks and desserts are wonderful as well.

A nice restaurant. Excellent service. The bbq ribs were a little tough . Not fall off the bones has advertised. Steak was great and the croissants were out of this world fantastic!

I enjoyed everything about this restaurant down to the knowledge from the staff the recommendations for the meals not a lot of places you can go to and enjoy beef ribs. If you do not eat pork so I give that a 10 out of 10.

Angelique was our hostess and went above and beyond to make sure our first experience at Joey D’s was amazing! Food, ambience, drinks, everything was top notch. Highly recommend!!!

First time trying out the restaurant and it was amazing! The food was outstanding and the service was on point the entire time. I would highly recommend this establishment for others to try!

It was a dark.... phooey, wrong beginning again. I have to finish that vampire novel some time. I had the opportunity to have lunch with the President of Dunwoody Preservation Trust yesterday, and it was my choice. Well.... duh ... where else but Joey D's. Arrived for my 1:00 resy, and the hostess said "yes you are sitting in Kaitlyn's section, I know all about it." and smiled at me. She is only like 30, but has worked at Joey D's since the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago. Sat in a booth which is uncharacteristic of me but if 1) I'm eating there and 2) Kaitlyn is working I'm sitting in her section whether she likes it or not. Some banter and the "Are you having wine... I don't know... are you?" and a glass of red wine each was ordered. A Pinot and Barolo. Kristin ordered the Filet salad. As you know the entree' salads here are massive and come with like three heads of lettuce on a plate. It was piled high with an ample amount of Filet, ordered medium rare. I opted to go old school, and had the Chopped Steak. This is an excellent value, under $30 for a plate of beef that is generally larger than a catcher's mitt, and I had the delectable potato salad as my side, and say it with me.... the side Caesar, over-dressed and dusted with a very nice portion of grated cheese. A round apiece later, and there was little to no salad left on her plate, and nary a morsel of food on mine. It would have been hard to have complained about, this meal! :) Kaitlyn was her usual Rhode Island self. Smiling, laughing, popping off quips like she was rehearsing her stand up routine, which I'd pay to see. While her personality is infectious, she is a marvelous server and is a really good example of the best foot forward the staff here exhibits all the time, every time. In the civic world, I just think I'm important but I had lunch yesterday with someone who is actually important. Great organizational chat, and where else but Joey Ds for this opportunity! Well done gang!
