Everything was perfect... Highly Recommend
We had a wonderful dinner at Joey D's! The garlic strip was probably the best steak I have had a Joey D's.
Terrible.... last time when we were there was pretty bad too, it’s a shame since this used to be one of our favorite place in Perimeter. I guess we won’t be returning for a long, long, long, time.....
Great experience. Ribeye, house salads, croissants, ALL delicious.
Great waitress and service....also very good job of suggestions for appetizers...Charbroiled Oysters, Calamari and salads were great....I had the crab claws and they were excellent and the desserts superb...can't wait to go back...
Music was too loud and lighting too low
Otherwise everything else was great
Randy is a great server!!
The restaurant was very nice! It was filled with customers, but was not overly crowded. My husband enjoyed his surprise date night.
I food was generally good that's a pretty standard restaurant our waiter was less than good seem to have an attitude when we didn't order drinks and appetizers otherwise the Ambiance of the restaurant was good
I ordered my filet medium rare, but it was overcooked to medium, and it had no seasoning whatsoever. Our waiter never returned to see how our meal was or if if we wanted another drink or anything else. The onion loaf was excellent. I've eaten here many times over the years, but we were disappointed this time and probably won't return based on the food and service together.
Always spectacular! Venue, Food, Service - our favorite!
Love this place, and food was good, but it is very loud (was not an option on the rating).
Food was good. Service was good. But it was a little too loud for a business meeting. We kept having to repeat ourselves. As a result, I don’t recommend it for business meetings.
Manager needs some customer service skills training. She was extremely casual when approaching our group, she looked annoyed that we asked to speak with her and used a language like she was talking to a group of 10 year old kids. Ex: She approached the table with a "So what's up?" vs "Good evening, I was told that there is an issue, how can I help you? OR "For this time only I will let you pay on separate checks" vs "I am sorry that while making the reservation for the group you were not told that our restaurant policy does not allow split checks, however, we do appreciate your business and for your group of 9 people we are going to be more than happy to make an exception".
Unacceptable especially considering what we paid!
Not sure exactly how long, but have been coming to Joey D's for a long time. Always the best. No where else to celebrate an important day (my wife Ellen's birthday)
Always a great steak dinner and fine spirits!
Good food and great service everytime. They never fail to disappoint
i like it here, food is consistent, atmosphere is relaxed
Felt rushed. Brought main course before we finished salad
Always good casual food. Service was good. Friendly server.
We always enjoy dining here. The ribs are great!! enough for two to share.
A bit on the noisy side for a business lunch. Otherwise, good food, nice atmosphere and convenient location for the Perimeter area.
Everything was just as I had remembered from the many years ago that I had been to this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. The music however....wayyyyy too loud and kept going up and down. The music played was awesome just very distracting and conversation was difficult.
The grilling style here is 20% charred. I'm very happy the server explained that before i ordered as I do not like much charring. I ordered the crab claws and was somewhat disappointed. The flavor wasn't bad, but many of the claws were dried out. Between the extreme noise level and the disappointing quality, It may be awhile before I would consider returning.
My friend had to send her $30+ steak back twice..overcooked, undercooked.. our server was great- had nothing to do with him. Bartender before dinner, tall gentleman, was less than friendly. Disappointing for such a beautiful bar and expensive drinks. Love the location, ambiance, décor are beautiful but too expensive to have these issues.
Only issue is it’s very loud.
They were out of the crab claws.. it was the reason I went. 🙁
The ambiance was nice. Very beautiful bar. Our server was awesome! It just took too long to get some of the food, so much so that one of our appetizers was comped. There weren’t any garlic claws...the main reason we went. The charbroiled oysters were good but too oily for me. I didn’t expect them to be swimming in oil. I heard the Happy Hour is really nice. I’ll be back for that. If I decide to go back for dinner I’ll try other things on the menu.
Food is always excellent. Menu is very extensive. Service is above par. Noise level is not conducive to conversation.
I took my Dad and his girlfriend here for his 90th birthday! The staff and management were amazing, especially Devin, who was super helpful in making sure that my Dad had a great experience. Everyone working here had smiles on their faces and made us feel very welcome. My Dad has Oysters Rockefeller for the first time and said that it his new favorite dish! We will be back when we visit Atlanta next time!
YES, But with the caveat that it is extremely loud. The croissant rolls did not have as much "drizzle" on them as I remember. The service was good. The desserts were yummy. Overall a good experience but I won't be returning for a while. Better places that are less noisy would be my choice.
Great food difficult to find parking!
Good place for a business lunch. Portions are generous but not always tasty. Salmon in my in my associates' salads was overdone as was my ground "beefsteak".
Almost $50 for two chicken Caesar salads and water/club soda. I need to find a new place to have business lunches.
All the meals that were served tonight got very good reviews, swordfish, chicken parm, French dip sandwich and cabled chicken. Service could have been better. Not terrible but not better than average.
The food and service was amazing ! Will definitely come again
Food was great; waited for 30 minutes late for reservation... but it was Valentine's weekend... so... to be expected.
good food and service, but had to wait 45 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation
Always have good experience going there. Steak came out over charred but was corrected immediately. Valentines day weekend so even with reservation had to wait about 40 minutes which was expected. It seemed like a tough day for the restaurant but the staff handled to the best they could and quite will. Will return as usual.
Been going to Joey D's for some time now but this was the worse experience. I had a 7:30 reservation, checked in and told less than a 15 min wait which turned into over an hour. Clearly they were over booked as the waiting area was a mad house. It did not appear that anyone knew what was going on or even in charge. Once we sat we ordered and everything (salad, apps, main course) came at once and was cold. I will rethink this one going forward.
