Waiter was very inattentive. It was a considerable length of time before he returned to take our orders - didn't ask for bar drinks to start with as one would expect. He gave us menus and then disappeared for about 15 minutes. The drink and food orders were taken together and then it took about 15-20 mins for the drinks to come minus the round of water we asked for. Food was brought out by a different waitress. Quickly noticed that our waiter was hovering around one table of wine drinkers vs looking after all his customers. We decided to go elsewhere for dessert as we didn't want to see how long it would take to receive that order. Took him long enough to bring the bill after being flagged down and asked for it. Food / drink are good - hopefully you don't get the same incredibly poor service.

Brett was our server and it was an amazing experience-he listened , he was thoughtful and very genuine and attentive to our requests without question!!! To have this amazing young man go beyond was a great way to end our week!!! Brett thank-you!!!

Excellent experience. Our server Brett was absolutely amazing. He made suggestions to accommodate dietary needs, super friendly, attentive, responsive and is the main reason we keep returning to Joey Coquitlam.

Took friends out for lunch today at and they were very pleased! The service, food and ambience was perfect! Meals were tasty and good portions. We had the blackened chicken, lettuce wraps, fish tacos and chicken tacos. Our server Brett was amazing as was the rest of the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for impressing my friend from Norway!

We had an incredible experience at our hockey team’s season wrap-up dinner, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Caleigh. From the moment we arrived, she made sure every detail was taken care of — friendly, attentive, and totally on top of everything despite our large group. Caleigh handled our team’s energy with ease, keeping the vibes fun while making sure drinks were full, food came out hot, and everyone was happy. She made everyone on the team feel welcome, and went above and beyond to ensure the night was special. The whole evening felt like a celebration — and much of that is because of how well we were taken care of. Thank you, Caleigh, for helping us end the season on a high note. You were a total rockstar!
