   It was our first time at Joey Coquitlam, and it was a great experience. We had made a reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. They surprised us with a sparkling drink and slices of cake, which was amazing!

   I have always found Joey’s an amazing Restaurant. Joey’s Coquitlam lived upto that standard. Beautiful staff serving with a small. Not rushing. In control. Salmon had no smell at all. I love the appetizer Gyozo. Great value. Chardonnay suggested by the server was perfect and not too chilled. Kudos to the staff and the Chef.

   Joey's is always flexible and they cater to my vegetarian palate. I have an aversion to noise, so they accommodate my request to be away from the din. My go to dishes are the veggie burger and tofu wraps. Kudos to Brett and Julia for the efficient and friendly client service. That was my 3rd visit to a Joey's in the past 8 days and no regrets whatsoever.

   I have never had a waitress as friendly and professional as Rachelle. She was definitely 11/10!!! The service was outstanding and we will come back again just to have her be our waitress. You are very lucky to have her on your team, she was amazing.

   Loved our meals and the service was top notch! The lobster tacos are to live for!!! It was very loud though and tough to have a conversation… we managed! Celebrating a birthday and Joey’s honored our friend! So lovely!

   I have to say that I have gone to Joey’s all over (Canada and US). I like taking customers there for the consistency in food and service. It’s always a predictable experience. I knew things weren’t going to go well when we seated in a standard 4 top despite asking for a nice booth for my customer’s birthday celebration. We waited for some time (around 10-15 mins) before being greeted by anyone and finally a manager came to take our drink order. It was another 20 min before I flagged another manager to take our food order. Our server did come by to check on us and we asked for some water. That never came. My ahi tuna club sandwich must have sat on the pass under the heat lamps as the bun was hard by the time it made it to the table. They were very kind in providing a nice brownie dessert with a candle and Hapoy Birthday written on the plate. I didn’t complain about anything, but this was my least pleasant experience at Joeys. But we didn’t let any of this affect our nice time together.

   Special occasion, Birthday celebration with my wife. We were greeted respectfully, server was personable, friendly and efficient. Food was as always consistant and very tasty.
