Went to Joey's with family to celebrate an event. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our dinner, but the service was a low point. Most of the staff were great, and we were offered complimentary champagne upon arrival, but our server was horrible. He barely came by during the meal after taking our orders, and we even had to flag down someone else to get our water glasses refilled. We had someone in our party order a beer, and all the other drinks arrived except for the beer. We followed up after 20 minutes and were told by the server it was coming. We waited another 15 minutes and asked someone else, who finally informed us that the keg needed to be changed and that it would take another 15-20 minutes. There was poor communication and a lack of attention throughout the night. He then added a mandatory 18% gratuity to the bill since we had a large group (8 people). To Joey's credit, the manager that we discussed with afterward took immediate steps to correct the situation and reimbursed the gratuity.

Cute spot in aventura with Miami vibes. Came with some friends tonight and we really enjoyed everything. From the champagne at the door to the complimentary dessert our server sent us (can’t remember their name sorry) Joey you earned yourself a customer!

Came for a late night cap with my girl and bar was a great experience. First time & will def be visiting again. I recommend the happy hour tempura shrimp and guac was 10/10.
